Light-Filled Loft near Lady Bird Lake

This apartment is detached from the main house, where we live. The Lady Bird Lake hike & bike trail is directly in front of the house. You are welcome to borrow bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, and use the pool (if the main house is not rented). The tends to rent only on weekends. Open the blackout cellular shades to feel suspended among the trees and see countless species of birds, especially Monk parakeets. This studio makes excellent use of the space above our 2 car garage with an elegant bathroom, organic mattress, and butcher block counter tops. It's tight for 3 or 4 people. The front house is directly on Ladybird Lake hike & bike trail, exactly 1 mile east of I35/ downtown. 1 block from Launderette restaurant and only a few blocks from countless fantastic East Austin bars and restaurants. The Expedition school directly in front of the house rents Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards. Check their website for hours of operation, which fluctuate. https://www.expeditionschool.com You are welcome to come and go down the side of the main house, but the parking in front of the house is resident-only. The best way to access the apartment is to come down the alley from the side street, Robert T Martinez. 4th house on the right. There is a parking space for you next to the garage, Text or call with whatever you need. I'm always happy to socialize, but I will give you your space. Directly on the hike and bike trail on a quiet end street. This is a foodie's dream, just a quick stroll to the best East Austin restaurants and the best breakfast tacos in all of Austin. When u book last minute, we need 3 hours to finish cleaning, and to put new water in jacuzzi and warm up. Pets friendly. ($35 a day per pet-2 Max) I have 2 friendly cats , We are 25 min away of Austin, it’s a hills place, don’t expect stores closer just 5 miles away. 8 min away to lake boat acces, 15 min away from shopping center 10 min away of HEB . We offer 2 kayak. Winter only can use fire pit. We have slow internet. It’s a retreat area not expecting high speed internet.
