This place is an experience, and worth driving a good detour to reach. You travel back in time, while having all the amenities you need. Personally, I always feel extra welcome when towels are provided as they were here - small details that mean a lot. Places are, as I said, a little off the beaten path, it is quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended to others.

I booked the place for my husband and son.. They are fishermen,so it was convenient for them that the place was close to the water. When it comes to the house,they were also very satisfied,because the kitchen was fully equipped. During the cold weather, they were able to flood. Everything worked as it should and, moreover, they slept well. Communication with the hosts was great. Thank you very much for a beautiful and extraordinary experience.

Arrived late on Friday to freshly made beds, and a nice note. Cozy place and pleasant hosting.

Visited Øystein and Cecile with our two dogs. Fantastic nice reception, good walking paths and very helpful. If we are going to Kongsvinger again, we will come back!
