This cabin is conveniently located in the Gila Forest, 3 miles North of Reserve on Hwy 12 between New Mexico Game Management Units 16D and 15. We are ½ a mile NE of Eagle Point Lookout turnoff off Hwy 12 (GMU 16D) and 2.1 miles South of Torette Lake RD turnoff on Hwy 12 (GMU 15). In addition, Reserve Sportman’s Club shooting range is 1.7 miles (road travel) from the cabin. If needed, there is plenty of space on the property to shoot your bow (bring your own targets). Shekinah Hermitage is at 8000ft. overlooking the Cibola N. F. This unique cabin looks into a canyon to the north, and eastward over the San Agustin Plains. Surrounded by juniper and pinion trees, it is very remote. Windows all around give the feel of being outdoors but the solid structure is immovable in high winds. Inside is all you need including limited solar-battery 120V electricity. There is an attached bathroom with a sawdust composting toilet. Outside a high deck offers stunning views.

The Ostrich House! Cozy, comfortable and private

Relax and enjoy our charming little house that was once used in our ostrich business. A big smart TV, great Wi-Fi, a nice comfortable king size bed and plenty of peace and quiet, make it a great place to stay. The big sectional couch can sleep a couple of kids (bedding is provided) if you want to bring them along. Come enjoy our beautiful White Mountains where there are trails to hike, great fishing, & snow skiing only 20 minutes away. We also have horse boarding available with booking.
