This place is so nice I’m torn between writing a great review or trying to keep it a secret.

was perfect for what we were looking for. Bev responded to all my questions very fast and was very accommodating to all of my requests. There was plenty of parking for all of our vehicles.

Exactly what we needed: clean beds and warm showers in between 2 big hiking days on the AT’s Triple Crown! Dina helped us find a contact to act as a shuttle driver for our hike, made recs for where to grab dinner, and set us up w/ a salvation pot of hot coffee ready prior to our VERY EARLY departure for our hike! Thank you Dina! It was fabulous!

Excellent séjour! Allez y avant fin 2025! Lieu propre et cozy, nous nous y sommes très bien senties ! Il y a des places sur le parking, des équipements suffisant pour un séjour en gîte, et même des jeux de société. Vous trouverez également des petits guides sur les lacs et restaurants environnants. Proche de toutes commodités tout en vous plongeant dans un écrin de nature! Un grand merci !!

We rented the home for PSU graduation. Lots of room for three generations of family to celebrate. Love the large kitchen and the bar area definitely came in handy. Crockpots were available and appreciated. The backyard is wonderful. We enjoyed sitting outside, too wet to use firepit but it is a nice area. Mike gave great advice on where to get ice etc. and we were set for the weekend!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was very quiet and clean. The area is really beautiful and the lake is great for kayaking. Darren and Nadene are wonderful. We felt right at home! They gave us lots of tips and Nadene makes a great breakfast! A big recommendation! One of our favorite stops on our trip. We will keep it in good memory and would come back any time! 🌞

I rented this place for my Husband, Son and Father to go scouting for their moose hunt! My son says, "the host was very kind and accommodating and made sure to make you feel right at home!" Everyone's kindness in the area made him want to move there! My Husband says, "It's a great place stay with a great atmosphere! everyone we ran into-wether it be on property or off- were super friendly! The hostess gave good recommendations for local places and the food at the diner was delicious!" My Dad also really enjoyed his stay, loved the food, admired all the old hunting memorabilia and was very greatful for the glasses that he was landed so he could read the gazetteer! Overall, they were very pleased with their stay, would highly recommend and would be happy to return! Thank you for providing them with a great place to stay this weekend!

This is a great spot to stay near Sugarloaf. The kitchen is great—my partner and I prefer to cook our own dinners on ski vacations. Super close to the mountain, clean room, friendly staff! There is a bit of road noise, but any of the motels will have that. I brought ear plugs and it was totally fine. I recommend this spot.

Absolutely loved my stay! The lodge is a hidden gem and the views were absolutely beautiful! My husband and I loved the cedar hot tub, it was very peaceful. My dogs enjoyed their stay as well <3

I was visiting for my daughter’s graduation at Yale, so unfortunately did not take time to use the fully equipped and clean kitchen, or sample some of Sascha’s cooking. The home is situated next to one of the 2+ mile trails around Maltby Lakes, where I enjoyed morning walks in the forest and along the lakes. The home concentrates on supporting native plants. I would like to return in the fall for more homemade chocolate and sample some of Sascha’s vegetarian cooking, which includes cuisines from South America and Asia. The stay was enjoyable with clean comfortable rooms and friendly atmosphere.

Great find for the price! Kids enjoyed game room, swimming pool with sprinklers, playground. It could feel kinda noisy from the road right next to the space, but coming from the busy city it didn't bother us and we were away all the time. The staff was amazing, answered a lot of questions, shared the recommendations about places we inquired. Will be back if it is going to be available!

Ragu is an awesome host! Extremely friendly, and the place was extremely comfortable! Home felt like home and had immaculate vibes. We can’t wait to come back. The view of the stars from the hot tub is unlike anything else.!

I always liked Michigan, but this place specifically is so beautiful and welcoming! Lona is a great host and was very helpful. The walk to the lake is very peaceful, and I've never been anywhere like this in Michigan. The ground is flat, the trees and flowers are very green and so well-kept --just like the house!

The place was great and exactly as in the pictures. Clean, cozy, perfect. Bryce & co. were also extremely flexible in letting me change dates due to a last minute weather event and helped me figure some other things out via message. Highly recommended!

A very beautiful place I would stay here again. It's very very neat and very modern and me and boyfriend had a great time there. They really know how to keep the place looking fresh. Clean bathroom, clean kitchen, and most importantly a clean bed. Also wanna mention how beautiful the view is there.

We stayed just one night as we toured through the area. This is not our usual kind of stay and found the entire experience unique and fun. We thought it was a bit expensive for what they offered but then realized that a wonderful, full-service breakfast was supplied for no extra charge!

Absolutely beautiful spot! We had an amazing weekend with zero complaints. If anything, the photos and description don’t do it justice we were in awe when we walked in.

We had a great time at Allison’s place! The location is great for access to Whiteface and the town of Lake Placid. The room and the common areas were comfortable and cozy. Allison and her son were highly attentive hosts who chatted with us each morning at breakfast and gave us a bunch of local recommendations. Overall a great stay!

Friendly host, luxury linens, and the most beautiful surroundings!! This place was awesome. My husband and I arrived late on Christmas night around 9pm. I mentioned to TJ how we weren’t able to find anywhere open to eat (because of Christmas) and TJ (the innkeeper) ended up making us 2 turkey sandwiches for dinner!! Talk about hospitality. We stayed in the Riverside Suite and the linens were AMAZING. I was not expecting that but the sheets were ultra soft as well as the towels and the mattress was so comfy. Literally checked the brand to buy the towels for my house. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after hiking all day and our pup enjoyed every minute. I was grateful to get to chat with TJ and the story behind the inn and how he has put his heart in soul into that place. You can feel that spirit and love throughout the whole property. We will definitely be back!!

Had a great stay! The house was very welcoming, quiet, and clean. Plenty of space. Lots of local tips and places to visit :) I would recommend and definitely plan on a return visit.

The place was really beautiful a bit congested but good for two people. They installed a new king size bed for us which was very comfortable. They prepared breakfast for us based on our preferences. the checkout process was also easy and seamless. Overall I had great stay.
