Seneca Lake A-Frame w/Stunning Views, Beach & Dock

MarcRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jessica was an incredibly responsive and honest host! The photos looked exactly as advertised, and the scenery was incredible. My fiancé and I had never been in the Finger Lakes, and it was a privilege to stay literally on Seneca Lake, with the best custard/ice cream shop in the world Spotted Duck about 5 minutes down the road. tons of places to eat in the area, including authentic great Mexican. The property was clean, quiet, safe and homey. It is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a family option with kids to be lakeside. 10/10 stay!

300 Steps To The Beach - Stone’s Throw Bungalow

CandyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at this perfect beach cottage. Amanda and Stephen, Wesley or so accommodating for some unexpected issues that we had. The house is immaculately clean. The furnishings are wonderful especially the couch was so comfortable. The kitchen is stocked. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The front porch was one of our favorite places in the morning sitting in the Adirondack chairs with our coffee. There is a lot of privacy and the home sits on a very nice street. The beach access is at the end of the street so it is a very short walk and you’re on the beach. We rented a golf cart and we were able to have access to most all restaurants and activities from their home. There were four of us and we had plenty of room. They added special touches with snacks and games and beach towels for us to use. It’s a lovely home and we had a great time. Thank you, Amanda and Stephen Wesley!

Waterfront cottage on beautiful bass lake

Jed's cottage was nicely updated, with plenty of amenities. Close to town, but with the peacefulness of the lake. A little too windy to use the fire pit, but a nice bonus. And we were allowed to bring our precious doggie. We had a lovely time.

Blackwood Mt Bungalow In the Woods with Sauna

JanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The bungalow was a nice place for a personal retreat. The use of space was inspiring. The first day I glamped out on the screened-in porch because I loved being surrounded by all the trees and birdsongs. The sounds of nature were delightful and softened the sounds from I-40. (Wearing my Air Pods greatly reduced the highway noise while on the back deck.) Due to the rainy weather I didn't walk the trail or use the sauna. The compost toilet was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it wasn't a huge issue since I traveled alone. However, I would really have to love someone to share this type of toileting arrangement. Overall, I enjoyed my peaceful stay.

Bungalow with Massage Chair & GAME ROOM

WilliamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The hosts were more than polite, constantly and quickly answering my questions. The place was spotless. Very nice property. There is even more to do than is listed (including a pond with ducks you can feed, my college daughter and her friends had fun doing this, a child would also). The only thing I would mention is that the game room and hot tub/sauna are different properties (they are only 20 feet away). This would be great for two families (or two or 3 generations), but if there are more than 5 or 6 people, I would suggest also renting the guest house (separate property also 20 feet away). This would be great for 2 families to be together but have private areas at the same time. The property is very big (big enough for 2 families) with two fire pits, playground for children, etc. I highly recommend this place and the owners.

The Bungalow at Afton Mountain Retreat

MicheleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at The Bungalow exceeded our expectations! An absolutely stunning home in picture perfect surroundings and a stone’s throw from Veritas Vineyard and Winery, the location for a family wedding we were attending. Dawn and Damond were welcoming hosts who anticipated anything we might need and need to know-information about the house and surrounding area was helpful and clear and they quickly responded to any questions we had. We have frequently traveled to the Charlottesville area and this was the best stay we’ve ever had!

Mntn Modern w/ Hot Tub | Mins to AVL, Hiking & BRP

CameronRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The place was fantastic. We had such a great stay and was the perfect location for our trip. The house itself was a great home base (we brought our 18 month old with us) and had everything you could need for a night in or to prepare meals for the gang. We loved the hot tub, and not only loved heading to downtown AVL, but also found some gems in Weaverville as well. We will be back!
