Welcome to our newly built house – a close to nature oasis with sauna, fireplace and unbeatable views of the lake and Järvsö ski slopes! No matter the season, this is the perfect accommodation for those who love the outdoors and relaxation. Swimming jetty with rowing boat just below the house. Bicycle and hiking trails around the corner. In the winter when the ice is located, you go to the ski slope in 10 minutes or take the car on 3. Free electric car charging. The house has 3 bedrooms (6 beds) kitchen, 1 bathroom and is our little paradise! Outdoor furniture & outdoor shower May-Sept.

Cozy cottage in rural village environment in Åmot. (Ockelbo municipality). About 2h 20 min from Stockholm, 2h from Arlanda. Nice cross country ski tracks. Kungsberget about 25 minutes away. Upper plane: Bedroom with 2 beds. Bathroom with shower cabin, washing machine and toilet. Lower planet: Fully equipped kitchen (not dishwasher), living room with fireplace, bedroom with 2 beds, WC. (Unable to close door between bedroom and living room, see picture.) Lanthandel is 20 m from the cottage. The right entrance is to this part of the house that is rented out.

Cozy cottage with secluded lakefront location

Here you will find tranquility, just a stone's throw from Kungsberget ski resort with close proximity to forest and lake. The cottage of 36 m2 offers an open floor plan with kitchen (not oven) and living areas where a sofa and daybed are available as well as a sleeping loft with double bed. A small cottage with a double bed is available in summer. The lake is outside the door but is better for a boat ride than swimming. Close to Sandviken, Högbo, Gävle and Ockelbo. Outhouse, hot outdoor shower, no water retracted, drinking water on can. Digital TV.

Two balconies with double seating areas, both upstairs and with lake view. (New outdoor space July 2023) There are several ski tracks, ice skating lakes nearby if weather allows. Kungsberget and Högbo ski resorts, only 35min away (34km) 12km to central Ockebo with shops, restaurants, cafe and beautiful Wij gardens.

Thanks Anders for a beautiful long weekend at this lovely cabin. We were 3 adults and 1 toddler and this space was perfect for our stay. My sister and her family also visited us for dinners and we had the best time here! The cabin had everything you need and more with a well equipped kitchen, heating/fan, hot water and lots of bedding options. It felt much bigger than what i expected seeing the photos and the decorations were lovely and very homely. The location is very peaceful and private with a beautiful lake view. Anders is an excellent host always responsive and very attentive to make sure his guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommend and would love to visit again in the future!

We are very grateful that wehad tbe opportunity to stay at this magical place. Through the peaceful atmosphere around the lake and the simple life in nature without electricity and flowing water it becomes easy to calm down. Our children love the place. And with some rain, we enjoyed the sauna next to the lake and the oven even more. Katarina was so kind and she even made great effort to make our trip possible and relaxed! Thank you so much for everything!! We had a wonderful and inspiring time!

Maria and Jonas were fantastic hosts, always available, super nice and helpful. Check-in was easy and everything was exactly as described, perfect. The location of the cabin by the lake with its own jetty is heavenly. A very special kind of nature experience. It was one of my most enjoyable Airbnb experiences! I would love to come back.
