Welcome to what has to be the “crown jewel” of cottages across Iowa! This place is absolutely beautiful and will make for a great stay for just a short trip or a longer relaxing time away. It is beautifully tucked in the trees off the road, providing peaceful surroundings and a quiet patio to just rest. It’s also so close to many great biking or walking trails. Our family only had one night as we were in town for a wedding but we now desire to come back to see and experience more - it simply is a perfect little cabin for a weekend away or to get a break from the busy lives we live. Mona was so good at communicating and met all our needs willingly. We appreciated the sparkling cleanliness of the cottage and know you’ll love your stay here! Can’t wait to come back! 😀

Beautiful location! Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life and yet close enough to our family we were visiting. Peaceful! Lovely covered porch to enjoy nature!

This place was a totally different experience for me being a guy from CT. This is a really cool spot in a town of 1300 people in the middle of Iowa. There are no traffic lights just boxes with 4 way stops signs. The people in the town were very friendly. It was a good middle point between Cedar Rapids (1hr 20min) and West Des Moines (55min). Im an easy sleeper so it was kinda cool hearing the trains come by at all times of the day and night. This may be a negative to someone who isnt a good sleeper. The kitchen worked well the couple times I cooked and the coffee shop was very close. The hosts were very responsive to any small thing that was needed. Would highly recommend for a longer stay or a random rendezvous!

Destiny's place was quite and we felt at home. I would recommend this place when you are visiting.
