Peace in a cottage in the middle of nature near Porvoo and the archipelago, on the edge of the forest, 15 km from Porvoo and 30 km from Loviisa. Perfect for two, but can accommodate four (2 sofa beds) if needed. Private yard, two terraces, wood-burning sauna, barbecue area and fully equipped kitchen. Bicycles can be borrowed and the beach is 2.5 km away. Great choice for a vacation or business trip. Note! The nearest shop or restaurant is not just around the corner, so bring snacks and delicacies – here you can enjoy in peace.

Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

Everything went well with the host. Good instructions for arrival and parking. Free parking nearby is really good. Arriving late at night was easy, as access with codes was easy. The location of the apartment is great, close to the riverbank and easily accessible when arriving in the city. Grocery stores and all the most important services and sights of Porvoo are within walking distance. The apartment was really clean and had everything you needed. In addition, there was a small snack and coffee, which was also a plus. I recommend and will stay again if needed. Thank you Peter!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Maria’s place!The guesthouse is charming, quiet and comfortable. I felt welcomed and at home the minute I arrived. The sea and the sauna were amazing, and the I thoroughly enjoyed walks and runs in the forest. All communication - through messages and face to face - was extremely warm and welcoming . I simply felt at home… The location is amazing and all the activities Maria recommended were great. I highly recommend this special, magical place. Hope to come again soon with my family, Matan
