We are a short 15 minute walk to the centre of Dublin and all that this vibrant city has to offer. We are close to the Botanic Gardens and a short drive to the beautiful Phoenix Park, home to Dublin Zoo and roaming deer. Our home is fully equipped with all mod cons including WIFI, cable tv, power shower in our large (shared) luxury bathroom, feather filled pillows and duvets, nespresso coffee machine etc, We are a gay couple who have been together for over 20 years and would be delighted to welcome you to stay in our comfortable and convenient home. We would be happy to provide you with an extensive continental breakfast in our sunny breakfast room or on the patio listening to the gurgling fountain of our fish pond! Our neighbourhood is a traditional area of Dublin where you can find all amenities in the locality including supermarket, pubs and most shops that any visitor would require. Because we are so close to the city centre and on a major bus and taxi route, the city is easily accessible for more fine dining and theatre options. If you like the idea of staying in a real Victorian period home with working real fires and fireplaces, elegant cornicing and a delightful cottage style walled garden, this is the place for you.

Our family lives in a 6 bed house in Donaghmede, Dublin 13 near Donaghmede shopping centre. The house is set in a very nice Estate. There are excellent transport links to all parts of Dublin with the DART station and frequent bus routes. There are 6 bedrooms in total, 4 bathrooms, a spacious living room and a large Kitchen/Dinning room. We have a pet cat called Maomao. This is a children friendly house.

Very nice place. It was clean and comfortable. I only stayed 1 night while waiting to catch a flight so I didn’t explore around too much. From what I did see though it seemed like a very nice peaceful suburb. Instructions on how to get in were very detailed and clear.

Bernadette was a great host and her dog Leo is the bestest boy ever! While buses go frequent, it takes around half an hour to get to the city-center, which is absolutely fine considering the price one would have to pay to stay in a hotel in the center! Bernadette even gave us these pre-paid bus cards that can be charged by phone which were incredibly useful. I recommend bringing ear plugs, as it’s necessary to sleep with the window open during the warmer season which faces a very busy and loud street. Overall, our stay with Bernadette was great and I highly recommend staying at her place if you’re looking for an affordable place in Dublin!

We had a good stay at Laura's place - we didn't spend much time there, but it was a good space to sleep and that is what we were looking for :) Laura was very friendly and communicative, which I appreciate!

A truly wonderful stay with the perfect hosts; incredibly helpful whilst respecting our privacy. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, fantastic shower too. It was so lovely to have drinks and some snacks provided - Poonam even supplied bread and butter/jam for breakfast. The location is on the bus/train lines so it’s easy to get about. Equally it’s nice to be staying outside the city centre. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much!
