Tawe Cottage - cosy property opposite River Tawe

CristinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was a pleasure to interact with Wendy, she is extremely friendly and attentive. The cottage is well-located, just a short walk from the high street, where you can find shops and restaurants. The cottage is well-maintained and equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including a microwave, washing machine, double dryer, and more. There are even toys for your little ones if you are traveling with kids. We will definitely book again, as we didn't manage to see everything in just two days.

Sied Yr Ardd

StuartRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely lovely little place to stay. You go in and first thing you see is welcoming indoor sheltered garden with seats and log burner. It looks like a shed on the outside but you go into the property and it looks like a modern amazing little home inside. Bright and welcoming would happily stay again. Hosts are great and responsive. Even put milk in the fridge before arrival.

The cottage

JuliaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and very homely. Our children loved all the cushions and blankets on the sofas to snuggle up at the end of an active day. Well equipped kitchen appreciated too. Definitely a home from home with a good size garden aswell. In a quiet location yet everything you need close by like a fish and chips shop and a tescos supermarket whilst also being accessible to lots of activities in the area. We visited the National Showcase Mines, walked to waterfalls and climbed Pen Y Fan as well as going for thrills at Zip World. Great recommendations from Andrew for places to eat. We enjoyed Penycae Inn - tasty food, animals to see in the garden behind, a playground next door and our dog was very welcome. Andrew was also very prompt to reply to queries. Handy to have the option of parking on the road out front or at the back of the garden for off road parking. I would definitely recommend the property and we will be back again ourselves I’m sure!

Modern little hide away

Ștefan-CristianRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Very nice house, neighbourhood, and surrounding area (it's right by national cycle route 43, by the river, very beautiful path). Beds were very comfy and the blackout curtains meant my family slept like babies. Very nice & spacious back garden too. Drive can fit more than one car if you have average sized cars. Will definitely use again in the future

Penycae Oak Lodge with HOT TUB

LewisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Oak Lodge run by the team at Penycae inn is a lovely, Warm, inviting place to call home for a few days. location is perfect as you are within short driving distance of a massive amount of different walks and activities but is still nestled in a pretty/quiet area. The best thing is the proximity to the inn - tasty food available at the drop of a hat and really takes the guesswork out of lunch/dinner. they also do a killer full Welsh breakfast! All the staff at the inn are incredibly friendly and helpful too. Only complaint is the birds in the on site mini zoo are really obnoxious when trying to sleep if you're in the back bedroom! we'd happily return, it's been a lovely stay

Beautiful Mountain views and amazing home ambience, just as it is in the pictures. Claire is a great host, helped us with local recommendations and made sure we were comfortable! Definitely recommend to people with a car visiting Wales for 2 days or more as it won’t be suitable for people travelling via public transport. Overall, a lovely stay in the middle of mountains, truly peaceful!

The Shed . A cosy, peaceful, 96% recycled, chalet.

What an amazing time we had! Jayne and Brendan were the perfect hosts! The “shed” Was absolutely stunning, so peaceful and comfortable! We felt right at home and it was very private, but hosts there on hand if you need them and so helpful and friendly! I would certainly recommend this place to anyone, and would a thousand percent stay again if we holiday in that part of wales again. My son has additional needs and cerebral palsy and the fact we were able to use their personal swimming pool just made the holiday perfect! We had one very very happy boy! In fact both children were in a mood with myself and their dad because we had to leave! Even the rain didn’t spoil it for us ♥️ Thank you Jane and Brendan for our wonderful stay in your very impressive shed!xxx
