There are also several good golf courses and bike and -MTB routes in the area. From the cabin it is 17 km to Silkeborg, 34 km to Aarhus, 6 km to Ry and 15 km to Himmelbjerget.

I kælderen også 4 soveplader til de, som ikke er bange for edderkopper og kælderlugt. Egen bro til Julsø. Adgang til to kajakker og robåd. Vandrerute til Ry langs søerne. Man kan i robåden krydse søen og tage gåturen de 3 km til Himmelbjerget.
