Shepherds hut vacation rentals in Wrexham Principal Area

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Barnutopia was our 1st glamping experience and a wonderful one too. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised by the wonderful time we had. The yurts were lovely, the site had fully equipped kitchen, clean restrooms and we could setup fire pits every night. We even met some lovely families. The place was gorgeous with beautiful views. Being able to have a coffee outside on the tables was my favorite part. Katrina was such a helpful and lovely host. She even brought out some toys for the little ones. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxed holiday.

We had an amazing stay at erw Glamping, everything was clean and very cosy. We loved using the fire heatet hot tub. The only point I would note is that I wish on the listing it was noted that only a certain amount of wood would be provided. In the future I would bring my own wood as there wasn’t enough provided to heat up the hot tub for the entirety of our stay and to make use of the fire pit. But all in all, had a lovely time. Such a lovely friendly couple, couldn’t do enough to help. Loved all the small personal touches - fresh eggs and milk, homemade flapjacks, even down to the little sticker on the toilet roll! Would defo recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay 😊

Thank you Charlotte, we had a lovely stay over the last few days! Even though the weather was a bit wet it didn’t dampen our spirits and we made the most of the beautiful scenery and peaceful surrounds throughout our stay! The hot tub was the perfect place to relax and chill after exploring the local areas! Will definitely be looking to come back again!

Blissful! The hut had everything we needed for a short stay and was well stocked with basic amenities. But more than anything what stood out to us was the beauty of the location. Truly idyllic. If we didn't have somewhere to be in the day, we would have very happily stuck around and relaxed.

The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Cerys was an absolutely amazing host, so attentive and made us feel right at home. So many thoughtful little touches with the lovely toiletries and homemade food. The view of the mountains at sunset was breathtaking and the space was so well thought out. Really comfy bed too! We loved walking in the forest around Trefiw but mostly just lounged around the hut and enjoyed the tranquility. Thank you!

We had a gorgeous time relaxing and recharging at the gorgeous shepherd’s hut. The pictures don’t do justice to how secluded and peaceful the space is - we felt like we were the only people in the world! Sian and her family were an absolute delight, so friendly and welcoming as well as being flexible. They allowed us to stay all day as they had no one in the day we were leaving, and were very flexible with a lasts minute request. Very informative on the local area but also left us to enjoy it. The place is definitely an outdoor vibe and therefore don’t expect complete polished luxury, but you have everything you need it’s very cute and at one with nature. The experience more than makes up for it. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Thank you!

To celebrate our silver wedding anniversary I wanted to surprise my husband with a 24 hr peaceful getaway This place was perfect from the gorgeous shepherds hut the decking with resident ducks for company to the lovely hot , hot tub ready on our arrival . Thank you so much for, we will be back .

Me and my daughter had a lovely weekend here. The hut was perfect, with fabulous facilities. My daughter loved playing outside and seeing the horses and donkeys. It's in a great location, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful little weekend getaway. Everything was clean and tidy for our arrival and was stocked with everything we needed to make a fire with clear instructions! It was very peaceful and quiet and the bed was soooo comfy! Would definitely return😊

Hannah’s place is totally idyllic. Beautiful accommodation, stunning views and super peaceful. Had everything we could need and more. Hannah was a brilliant host, very communicative and came and showed us the ropes, very welcoming. Homemade chocolate cake was gifted to us and it was delicious - definitely keen to stay again!

Stayed one night and loved it, the Shepards hut is clean and bigger than you expect. It has everything you need, and the scenery is lovely. Great value for money!

Wow! Stayed here for two nights for an anniversary break away. The location is amazing and the set up is fantastic. Loved how there were distinct little areas i.e. sleeping lodge, living and cooking, outdoor spa type area.. the dream! The accomodation is really secluded and at the other end of the lake from the other two lodges, so felt super special! Fishing peg available there and we caught a couple and lost a few more! Hosts are super lovely, really responsive and kind (leaving welcome bits and grabbing us a brolly to help with not being drenched leaving!). Has everything you need for a special break away. Will be my 'mindful space' for some time to come! ❤️ Hope to visit again soon!

A lovely place to go away for a weekend retreat to relax! Beautiful scene and views. We took our little dog and the enclosed area around the hut was great for him to run around in nice and secure - the gates do have a little gap under so just keep an eye if you have a small sneaky escapee dog!

This is genuinely one of the most well designed spaces I’ve ever stayed in! Imaginatively and creatively curated to make the most of every square inch so that despite being tiny it didn’t feel at all cramped. We stayed just one night for a wedding nearby so sadly didn’t get to really make use of Ted’s Shack or the hammock etc but it is such a gorgeous, private space in the middle of beautiful countryside. I couldn’t fault it! Steve also very generously allowed us an early check in and late check out. Thank you!

We let ourselves in through the gate as instructed and parked up, Beth came out to greet us and show us around, The hot tub was still filling so the water is definitely changed between every visit. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils and the views are stunning, We stayed for 1 night only but wished we stayed longer, Will definitely return for a longer stay to take in the beautiful surroundings.
