The bathroom has a walk in shower; use the fan or heat lamp. The Bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser, night stand with lamp. Along with a spacious closet, it includes a washer and dryer. Feel free to do your laundry and hang your items up. Working, relaxing, and living. Our space have all the essentials you need for your stay.

The Shopkeeper’s Apartment in Yuba is the lower rear apartment in a 4-unit commercial brick building. The historically renovated space has a mix of old and new, with hardwood floors, a few restored wooden windows, and a full kitchen and bathroom with a walk-in shower. The apartment is located in the quaint village of Yuba (pop. 53), which is the smallest incorporated village in Wisconsin, 15 minutes (11 miles) from Hillsboro. Most days, you can grab a drink and meal next door at Louie's Bar.

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. Our property offers a Peaceful Getaway in a Resort Setting on a Quiet Lake. "Great Location", "Amazing Views", "Clean", "Cozy", "Perfect", "Peaceful", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" are what we repeatedly hear from our guests after their stay. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Small Town Vibes with Amazing River & Bluff Views

Enjoy gorgeous view of the Mississippi River, bluffs, and trains, entertain yourself with the live music (occasionally late) from neighboring establishments, stargaze on the deck, or revel in the passing trains. This apartment is the perfect place to get away and relax. Bring up your boat as you'll have parking available in the driveway too! NOTE: this is an upstairs apartment, but we promise you won't be disappointed and want to come back again and again. NON SMOKING. No pets.
