Just the most magic location and place for 2 families with kids. Kayaking was a bonus and the host was absolutely amazing responding so quickly with any questions we had. house was Devine

Werner is a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and make everything easy for us when we booked a last minute stay when a friend flew in for a surprise visit. The cottage is beautiful, cosy, and the outlook to the garden and dam is private and peaceful. There were thoughtful little touches that you don’t see in many places - complimentary firewood, a bottle of delicious, locally produced wine, some breakfast museli, a loaf of bread, a bottle of milk in the fridge, and all you need to prepare meals. The cottage has history, character and a warm soul that made it the perfect place for us to settle in and relax, catching up on all the life events since we’d last seen each other. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, tidy and easy to find. The back veranda is the perfect place to sit and stare at the view while enjoying a cuppa or a glass of wine. Really lovely place. Super comfortable, good amenities, very nice bathroom. Perfect for a family weekend stay. The toys and games cupboard was a hit with our daughter and the kids’ books were a good addition too! Hosts were very responsive with our queries and flexible for us to arrive later than expected for check in. The late checkout was also very well received! We would stay again!
