me and my family stayed for 5 months for a job in Kansas. It was our first time in Kansas and they made it seem like we never left home. it was the best experience we have ever had. thank you for everything.

Lucas is such a special place, and Mary Ann's house is in keeping with the area and its history. The wide assortment of photographs in the house really added to the experience. A short walk takes you to all the sights, and it was lovely to see all the flowers in bloom at the house and throughout the neighborhood. Lucas is a one of a kind place, and we enjoyed all the connections that Mary Ann has to the house and the town.

We had such a great stay! We traveled from St Louis for a family member’s wedding at Lake Wilson. The house is so cute and very comfortable! The location was perfect for us—scenic 15 minute drive to the campgrounds where everyone else was staying but those of us who don’t enjoy camping were very grateful to sleep, shower, and cook in our temporary home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed, the linen closet was well stocked, there were plenty of extra cleaning supplies which was great since we had two very young children staying there, too. There was a small mishap between our check-in and the check out of the previous guests but Nathan very quickly took care of us which was greatly appreciated! Overall, no complaints and I would absolutely recommend choosing this home & host ☺️

This house was a perfect spot for us to land from the east and west. The owner/ host provided for every need. The property was clean and pristinely maintained. It is also a living museum. We loved the detail of historical explanations in every room and the coordinating binders to share the family history. Down to the robes hanging and available we were thrilled with our choice. We have family who boats at Wilson every week. You are certainly now our first choice and will be back. Thank you.
