Melt at Elbow Valley

We have stayed in AirBnb's all over the world and this place tops the list. We wanted a private, quiet getaway and we got that 100%. The entire place is amazing from amenities, the epic vista, the stars, the gorgeous cows, birds and pure relaxation. Outdoor bath was amazing, indoor outdoor fires, just epic times. Will be back for sure.

Lane’s End Cottage - cosy farm stay

AngelaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts who have created a beautiful cottage providing everything you need (including farm fresh eggs). Location is handy to everything in the Stanthorpe area but secluded at the same time. There’s plenty of cut hardwood for the fire, as well as central heating, well appointed kitchen for self catering, comfortable bed and plenty of indoor space. Loved our time at Lane’s End Cottage.

Thank you so much Debbie and Allan for the wonderful farm stay experience! We had such a great time. I especially loved the fireplace in the living room — it was my first time using one and it was so much fun! The place was cozy and full of charm, and we really enjoyed meeting all the adorable animals on the farm. Truly a memorable getaway!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Alum Rock Hideaway. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the natural beauty and peacefulness of the surroundings – a true escape from the hustle and bustle. The accommodation itself was immaculate, beautifully presented, and incredibly well thought-out. Every detail had been considered to ensure comfort and relaxation. We especially appreciated the privacy of the location – it felt like our own little sanctuary nestled in nature. We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. The setting was private, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery — the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of our favourite parts was waking up to kangaroos grazing nearby each morning — such a magical experience! The cottage itself was cosy, well-kept, and had everything we needed. Our host was extremely helpful, kind, and made us feel right at home. You can really tell how much care has gone into creating such a welcoming space. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in nature.

Wonderful little place to get away. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to plenty of wineries and Girraween National Park. Fire was lit when we arrived which was lovely. If you go in winter, pack warm clothes, the area gets cold. Would happily stay here again.

My girlfriends and I just spent the weekend at Braeside Mountain. The view was spectacular, the house was gorgeous. Sunset in the spa and waking up to the Wallaroos chilling in the yard...Amazing! The Barn Farm Stay

KylieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Barn@Tenterfield is a wonderful stay. As soon as we arrived we were able unwind and relax - even starting with a bath while looking outside the countryside and enjoyjng the complimentary sparkling. The photos in th app present exactly as you see and we were even able to get the fire prepped for the evening - thanks to the great folder of instructions that were provided. The next day, the furry residents didn't disappoint, and the multiple cows came over for a hay breakfast while we ate ours and we loved that they had name tags to help us identify. Pumpkin was our favourite! The location was a perfect 10mins out of Tenterfield, 15mins from Girraween NatPark and 25mins from Stanthorpe. Overall, it was close to all requirements although we came on a weekend where a lot of Tenterfield shops were closed for that particular weekend. The barn was immaculate and was everything as described - a wonderful retreat and opportunity to enjoy and relax. Overall it was thoroughly enjoyable
