Joanne’s place is very comfortable and just a short walk from the village centre. The breakfast in the cafe on site was delicious. Joanne was very welcoming. We will stay again when back in the area.

What a beautiful place to stay. Plenty of space with everything you need. Hazel was so welcoming and helpful Surroundings were so peaceful and only 2 miles to shops and facilities so having a car made it easier. Everything was lovely and clean. Would love to come back.

Nice comfortable stay. Perfect base for visiting the places we had planned. Would recommend booking a table at the local pub, 30 seconds down the road. Don’t be put off by this as there was no noise or disturbances. Lovely playground a short walk away.

The Dairy Farm Stay Castle Howard. Sheriff Hutton

Sally was so friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home. She allowed our son to take her dogs for a walk as he was missing his pups, and she walked with us through the stunning woods and bluebells. The property was very homely and had absolutely everything we needed. The gardens were beautiful! In fact, we wished we had stayed much longer and based ourselves there as it is quite central to many villages and attractions. We do hope we get the opportunity to come and stay with Sally again!

A perfect stay. Place is absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated and presented. Lovely host. Would recommend and stay again. The photos looked great but it was even nicer once there. Great little kitchen with a helpful range of utensils. Well thought of. Great location to York and beautiful villages and surroundings. Great for exploring the Howardian hills. Wish we had found it sooner! A BIG thank you ☺️

The Tree Cabin

This was the most sensational location. The property itself is stunning and the surroundings so picturesque. We wanted to just switch off and get away from it all for a couple of days and thats exactly what we were able to do. Tony and Barbara are lovely and so very helpful, we loved learning about the history of the buildings and the Mill Pond. We will be recommending this property to friends and family. Thankyou Tony and Barbara for the warm welcome
