Oak Cottage with private log fired jacuzzi hot tub

CharlotteRating, 5 stars5 months ago
What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Old Shires Barn

LisaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our group of 7 friends and a dog had a lovely stay at the barn. We loved the social spaces, it was great that the garden is secure so Fergus was free to roam but also contained. The outdoor dining space is great to enjoy in the good weather and the indoor spaces are cosy. Loved the extra touches of fairy lights on and log burner lit on arrival, dressing gowns and slippers and plenty of towels was great. We had a day in nearby Whitstable, walked to a local pub for lunch another day. A great base. The only thing worth noting is that to get to the single beds you need to crawl so will only work for adults than can crawl. Very likely to return.

Plantagenet: A Historic Country Cottage with Pool

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

Thatched Cottage Kent hideaway 3 Bed HotTub Haven!

OlgaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

Hazel Tree Cottage. A secluded country retreat.

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a charming, secluded retreat that feels surprisingly remote given its accessibility from London. We were warmly welcomed by Claudia and her partner who were on hand for any issues (there weren’t any) but left us to our own devices. We appreciated the thoughtful breakfast goods they left for us, outdoor toys which our toddler loved and the cottage itself is very comfortable and stylishly fitted out. Very comfortable for our dog as well with a field to run in and securely fenced area that the cottage opened up to. Highly recommend!

*Summer holiday dates available* Close to Beach

GabrielleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time in this lovely cottage. It has so much character and charm, and loads of space. It was clean, really beautifully decorated and practical - kitchen had everything we needed, big dining table, two outdoor seating areas (so you can get sun morning and afternoon!) and big bathrooms. The stairs are steep - fine for us - but the cottage location is fab- walkable to the beach and the lovely shops and restaurants of Broadstairs. The owner also provided maps and guidebooks for the local area. Communication with the owner was perfect, we had everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, thanks for having us Ellie!

The Old Bicycle Shop - Chilham

GeorginaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What an amazing place to stay. The accommodation was spotless and was the perfect location to get ready for our big day. We lived every second of staying at The Old Bicycle Shop. The hosts were really proactive with instructions on how to find the place and let ourselves in and the handwritten note left was so nice. What a wonderful place with all the amenities you could need for an excellent stay. Everything we needed was there when we looked for it. The bedroom was super spacious and the bed was absolutely huge and very comfortable as were the sofas in the living area. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was very good too. Overall just the perfect place to stay and we hope to come back again.

'Stones Throw' Our treasured cottage by the sea

FrancescaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Had a great time staying at the property in Kingsdown. This was a spur of the moment stay with my 9 month old baby and the property was so child friendly with lots of toys for my little one to enjoy. Such a peaceful location with the beach at the end of the road and great walks into Walmer and Deal. Gemma was v.responsive and in particular given we only booked on the Sunday to stay the following day. Will definitely return.

Cottage with a view.

PatRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jo’s cottage is perfect in every way, so well laid out and excellent amenities. I cannot fault it. Jo has thought of everything and is a very generous host, providing treats and amongst other things, eggs juice bread and butter. Upon entering through a side gate it’s like stepping into a fairy land, a private and beautiful garden and a cottage to relax and unwind in. So well positioned to visit numerous attractions and beaches. The swing seat is a wonderful addition, on a summers day and well into the evening during and after spectacular sunsets it’s a great place to unwind and take in a a gorgeous view. ‘Badger Cam’ is a must! We saw them all the nights we were there along with a fox and this is a great way to watch them uninterrupted. I would highly recommend Jo as a host and her beautiful cottage you won’t be disappointed. We hope to return soon . Thank you Jo

All Saints Cottage, City & Riverside with parking.

Adrienne Rating, 5 stars6 days ago
If you're lucky enough to visit Canterbury, then you MUST stay here! John's property offers a unique opportunity to stay in a historic building (it has its own Wiki entry!) that is footsteps away from all the key historic sites that make this city famous--not to mention the town's restaurants, pubs and shops. The place is well-equipped and super cosy, full of English cottage-charm décor. The free parking space is an additional bonus and very convenient; the deck out back lets you enjoy the river and the passage of small boats up close. There are direct views of the cathedral from the back--my favorite was the small "attic" bedroom window with a direct view onto the cathedral's spires. The place is very quiet at night, despite its proximity to popular pubs and restaurants. John is also super responsive and immensely helpful if you need to be in touch. We loved our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Contemporary Cottage near the Beach

RodneyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cottage is excellently located in Walmer, with easy access into Deal. Caroline has an eye for detail and the cottage is beautifully decorated and appointed. That includes a small, but delightful garden which we enjoyed sitting in. The kitchen is very well equipped as we enjoy cooking and Deal is quite a “foodie” destination with an excellent fish shop and nearby deli. We loved Deal and surrounding area and were grateful for Caroline’s warm and informative hosting. One of our best AirBnb experiences.
