Very nice house on a beautiful lake Odessa. Look exactly like the pictures. Very peaceful place. Kids love it by the water and was able to fish all day. Would definitely consider going back.

My family and I stayed here while in town for a racing event. My family had a wonderful place to stay and unwind while I was at the track for three days. Everything was wonderful! My wife and kids ended up out on the lake in a canoe that was available to use. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to be able to cook dinner every night. At the end of a long day at the track, my wife and I were able to enjoy the hot tub. Everything was clean and neat. There was one issue I messaged Susan about during the stay, nothing that was huge, but I let her know there was a bee's nest in the shed where the canoe and kayaks were stored. Susan responded immediately and came out to take care of it. This place is clean, really nice, secluded, and peaceful. We had a wonderful long weekend to rest and unwind.

Extremely nice house that worked perfectly for our family of eight. The four kids (7, 5, 1.6, and 4 months) sleeping arrangements were just right. There was plenty of toys and things to do for the kids - including water options.

our family of five plus two puppies had a wonderful stay. we have stayed in alot of homes and this one was our families favorite so far. Great layout! the laundry room was great for me. Do plan for grocery pick up for main needs as once your settled its a drive to big box stores. And you dont want to leave! so mush to do three nights was not enough time for this great town and home.

My family and I loved the octagon house! It was secluded and felt like home. It had everything you can need in a place, including a fun game room for the kids. Definitely would recommend if your looking to get away from all the city noise. :)

Loved this house! We had 8 girls. The beds were comfy, the house was stocked very well. I came over prepared with seasonings, garbage bags, and a lot of the basics.. and Paul had it all! Had plenty of towels & beach towels…The only thing we couldn’t find was a cutting board… quick Meijer trip! We LOVED THE HOUSE! interior was beautiful, a little dusty and bathroom downstairs needed a little cleaning but it was a 20 minute clean. I’m also very neat freak in that way and just did a cleaning when we got there. The property was beautiful, well stocked with firewood, was able to park 4 cars nicely. The sand down by the water was super soft. The upper deck (needed to wear shoes d/t a girl getting a splinter) the lower deck was Trex Deck & very nice. Hot tub was awesome. Overall, a wonderful experience & we all want to make it a yearly tradition coming back. Neighbors were nice and we were greeted by the friendly dog of a nearby neighbor. We used the home for an annual ladies only get away, it was relaxing, beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed including a beautiful hot tub, our host was very responsive to messages, I would recommend it to anyone and will consider it again for a relaxing getaway.

We had a great time. It is a wonderful house and a lot of great memories were made. Fun for all ages! My husband and I are in our 40’s, two 20 year olds (our son and his girlfriend), a 16 year old (son), my sister and her husband who are in their 30’s and their 3 month old son. We had pinball tournaments, Godzilla was our favorite, grilled out, made smores at the fire pit, played in the pool and relaxed in the warm bath and hot tub. We rented UTV’s at Silver lake, went to the Ludington North Breakwater Lighthouse, went mini-golfing and go carting at AJ’s, ate and bowled at Stix, and walked around the shops in Ludington. The Coffee Coup’s Golden Egg is a must have for coffee lovers! Thank you, Carolyn, for letting us stay in your beautifully time warped 70’s home!

We originally booked a different cottage in Ludington….only to find out we accidentally booked it for the wrong date. We cancelled that reservation and booked this location instead. Host responded immediately- huge relief to us since we were already on our way to the area. Directions to the house were spot on, which made it easy to find. Even though this was a last minute reservation, the house was ready for us. Yes, the furniture is dated but that was fine with us. There is so much to do in the area that we were gone most of the time. However, we did spend some time at the house to do some fishing out on the lake- they have a boat and canoe onsite that we were able to take out. Our last night there, we sat out by the fire pit and stargazed while we fished. It was perfect! Communication with host couldn’t have been any better. They checked in with us to make sure all was going well and responded right away when I accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at forest and flows Airbnb a lot of history there for myself. I've been going there since I was a kid stony lake, and we'd always go to Silver Lake and walk down to the Lake Michigan, right there down the canal. We did that every evening. The few people that were with us that have never been there. We're just astonished by the sunsets. We were lucky to get nice weather. I got to play, I'm baseball diamonds. Get ice cream across the street and just genuinely relax. It was a great place. The neighbors are very friendly.We all had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is close to the lake. Walking distance to a small beach. Very peaceful. We used the bikes to ride on the Fred Meijer trail and around the lake. Only about a 10 minute drive into town less than that to get to Walmart. We would definitely stay again when in the area visiting relatives .

This is our second stay at the cottage and the first stay we rated it a 5 star and we would rate higher this time if we could . We had a baby shower for our daughter and the cottage was PERFECT .

This was the perfect place for a quiet getaway, and the views on the lake are beautiful. We fished off the dock and took the paddle boat out, and the house is set back away from traffic. There are houses on both sides of the property but we didn’t see neighbors during our stay. We spent most of our time outside but did cook most meals at home on the grill and inside in the well-stocked kitchen. There were lots of extra linens available and there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t available. John was a great host and we will definitely return for another stay.

I had a really great stay at Michelle’s cottage! It was perfect for the activities we were doing in Mears! Also Michelle was a GREAT host! She accommodated me for my short stay which was very helpful and convenient for me! I appreciate the communication skill & the house was perfect for a quick getaway.

We were in Pentwater for a wedding and this property was perfect for our stay. Convenient to the downtown and in a nice neighborhood everything was as described in the listing. The owners were very professional and courteous, and the communication was excellent..

Great Place for a fall long weekend getaway! We enjoyed the ease of access to surrounding activities, beautiful views and advertised amenities. The place worked great for cooking in or outdoors and keeping two children entertained. Trips to dunes for hiking or motorsport, bigger cities for restaurants or shopping and parks for sightseeing and recreation are all available from this cottage. The place was well stocked with towels, bedding and cooking utensils. Some water and ice are also provided. I ended up needing to work a bit during the stay, the wifi was great for this. A note that lake front property is prime real-estate so neighbors are close by. While quiet and nice, having neighbors close by may not be everyone's cup of tea. Overall a great place to stay, would be interested in coming back for longer during the summer in the future.

We brought our teens here for a quick family getaway to Michigan. The location is fantastic and close to everything we needed. Got some essentials at the local Meijer before we came in to have meals during our stay but also took advantage of restaurant delivery, ate at The Deck and stopped for sweets and treats at Ghezzi’s, the local market. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet - always spotted deer playing in the yard! The house is amazing and was plenty of space for a family of 5. The garage rec space was awesome - we watched movies and played on the ping pong table a lot. Great hangout for the teens. The house was clean and as described. Mackey, the host, was great and very responsive. We plan to come back and we will book it again!

Our week at LouAnn Lodge was amazing. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for 8 adults. We really enjoyed the lakeside firepit, kayaks and paddle boards, as well as the yard games. The area is quiet but convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Definitely recommend for a family get away.

It was a beautiful spot and everything was as he listed it. The only issue was beyond Brandon’s control. The GPS told us to go left instead of right but we figured it out by the pictures of his place posted on his listing.

Great house right on the river. Very cosy and great location. The host was helpful and responsive.The house was vey clean and well maintained and we hope to come back and stay again in this beautiful location and comfortable property

We had a wonderful stay at the Lily Pad Cottage. The surroundings were peacefull and serene. We enjoyed the beauty of nature everyday. We saw Orioles & hummingbirds, bunnies, a mama deer with her fawn, a snake, frogs, a loon on the lake. We fished, we kayaked. We enjoyed the beauty of Bass Lake. The cottage was very cozy. We especially enjoyed the sun porch and its beautiful views. Patti has a great response time. We had one small issue and it was fixed within an hour.

Our family had another great stay! We just love everything the area has to offer, and it continues to be our family’s favorite vacation location. Our kids range from 13 to 4, and ALL of them have the best time!

Arthur's lake cottage was the perfect getaway for making memories with the grandparents. From the moment we arrived, Arthur made us feel like old friends. The home, though older, was well-equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Everything was spotless, and the beds and furniture were incredibly comfortable. The cottage offered stunning views and excellent amenities. We enjoyed days on the water with the canoe, rowboat, and kayaks, while our child had a blast on the swings. The sandy beach with chairs was ideal for relaxing. Evenings were spent fishing and watching breathtaking sunsets. The location is also convenient—just a short drive to town for groceries or a treat at the local ice cream shop. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable stay!
