Rustic Memories/Near Deep Creek Lake/No extra fees

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

Great place to stay if you're in the area. we wanted to see the Flight 93 Memorial and this was the perfect stop. It was just over night so we didn't have time for a farm tour but I did see a bison! Roger is friendly and a wonderful host. Having a washer was great since we were on a road trip.

Paradise Farm—Near Harpers Ferry

CindyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay in "Paradise" was perfect for a much needed getaway. We specifically chose this place because of the farm setting and the reviews that reflected the accuracy of the listing. We wanted the country atmosphere. We wanted the ability to see, feed, and nuzzle a variety of farm animals. We wanted to be greeted by a congo line of kittens. We wanted to feel welcomed like it was a family Sunday dinner and we could ask questions and share life experiences without feeling we were intruding (even though we knew Scott and Barbara had a ton of stuff to do each day!). And yes, we wanted to be awakened by a symphony of chickens, geese, emu's, grouse, and many, many other varieties of birds and fowl. Every blade of grass, log you step over along the hike around the grounds, longhorn cattle, horse, dog, kitten, emu, goat, duck, chicken, etc. exudes the passion that Barbara and Scott have poured into their place. Barbara has worked hard to provide everything you need. You are welcomed "home".

Lost River Bunkhouse Barn, dog-friendly + hot tub

AntonioRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family really enjoyed our stay. It's definitely an off the grid kinda stay. So worth it to put the phone down and enjoy this gem in the woods. The place was well stocked and recently updated. Hot tub was a big added plus! Its definitely a haul from Indiana, but if we are ever in the area again we will be back!!

Secluded Hilltop Retreat: Log Cabin + Hot Tub

BrentRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Best Airbnb experience, the place was spotless, well stocked and had incredible views. Easy drive from DC, great hiking in the National park nearby. The hot tub was fantastic, secluded so you relax. I didn’t use the barn space but it looked amazing. I loved the fire pit. I can’t remember seeing many sunsets without houses or buildings in the view… here you can. This is the one airbnb I would want to come back to consistently. Great hosts, perfect for a getaway to West Virginia for some peace and quiet. Next time I’ll stay longer now that I know what to expect.

Pet-friendly Quiet Cabin in the Laurel Highlands

AliciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The best part about our stay was the fenced in yard. Our dogs could run and play outside without being attached to a leash. The inside was adorable and extremely clean! I have severe pet allergies and I worried that I would be miserable all weekend, but I only sneezed a handful of times! We had everything we need to make dinner one night, which was nice because we didn’t have to take the dogs anywhere or leave them alone (I wouldn’t trust them). We will definitely be back!

Luxe Log Cabin, Mountain Views, HotTub, Secluded

ChristaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I and our four adult children enjoyed our 4 day weekend very much. Really close to hiking at Shenandoah National Park and the Luray Caverns which were definitely worth the visit. The house has everything you need to have a relaxing time. The hot tub was a big hit and worked really well. If you are a “Foodie” there are not many good places to eat but we really loved the Chop House Bistro in Luray. A bit pricey, but very good food. Overall the Host was very responsive and the house was wonderful. Would definitely recommend and plan to come back next year.

Welcome to the Hidden Hive!

Mary LouiseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at The Hidden Hive was absolutely everything we hoped for—and so much more. Tucked away on serene, picturesque farmland, this charming cottage is the definition of peaceful. You truly feel like you’ve stepped away from the busy world and into a little pocket of calm. The location couldn’t be better—just minutes from Appalachian Trail hiking and surrounded by the sweetest local shops and restaurants. It’s clear that this is a lovingly owned and maintained property by a small family, and that warmth is felt in every detail. The cottage itself is incredibly well-appointed—everything you’d expect from a hotel, and so much more: coffee, crramer, toaster oven, tons of bottled water, fresh eggs from the farm, laundry supplies, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, extra linens, towels, and pillows. Whether you’re looking for a cozy base for exploring the area or simply a peaceful place to unwind, The Hidden Hive is a true treasure. We would absolutely stay again & highly recommend!

“The Loft” Guest House w/wifi workspace, gym etc

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay at the loft. Linda was very helpful and responsive when we had a few minor issues/questions during our first day check in. You could tell Linda put a lot of thought into ensuring guests had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The A/C thermostat and some of the light/fan switches were located downstairs which was a minor annoyance if you need to make frequent adjustments. This was not a big concern for us, just something to note for those who have limited mobility going up and down stairs. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it to others.

The Great Escape Lodge ~ Exquisite Mountain Views

IvoryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Great Escape was a true escape! Both the tangible and intangible amenities are top-notch. The location of the home was perfect, not far from the city, quiet and serene. With easy access to everything. The view of the mountains, sunsets, and sunrises are beyond beautiful. The home was clean, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. The positive, encouraging words posted throughout the home reflected the love and peace that is present! The daily devotional on the sofa table was certainly comforting. Heather (the host) was quick to respond to my messages and inquiries. She was very gracious. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this listing. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Note if traveling with elderly travelers. There are no grab bars available, and in order to access the front door, there is a long stepped walkway with no hand rails.

The Loft at Sneaky Fox Farm

KellyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

Abby's Lookout - Raised Retreat w/Hot Tub & WiFi

CaitlinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect place for a quick weekend away in Berkeley Springs! Close to town, but quiet. Gina's place is probably the most well-stocked and clean Airbnb we've ever encountered - all of the kitchen basics you'd ever need, plus other extras. Really enjoyed the hot tub and drinking our coffee on the deck. The cupcakes, wine, sparkling water, and note from Gina were a lovely touch. We tried the new restaurant in town she recommended, Proof, which was great.

Shenandoah Valley Vista: Mountain Home (Lvl2 EV)

MistyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a nice weekend away! Perfect location and beautiful views, close enough for day trips to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Forest. The fire pit and hammock were a nice place to spend the evenings after a day out exploring. The power did go out on two separate occasions, but that was out of Jordan’s control and she was proactive and communicative about it. Overall, we had a nice stay!

The Hunt Box @ Tally Yo Farm

GracieRating, 5 starstoday
I cannot say enough good things about Lynn’s place. Myself and 3 girlfriends went for a girls weekend and the place was perfect. I have never been in an Airbnb with such a well stocked kitchen. We cooked most of our meals in the house and had access to spices, nice knives and pots/ pans/ plates. Not like a normal Airbnb that is bleak and bare. The pool area was super cute and easily accessible. We met and chatted with Lynn who was so sweet and helpful- and she has the cutest dog ever, Baxter. The beds were comfy, the showers had plenty of water pressure, there was plenty of room inside to hang as a group. The surroundings were gorgeous. I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our stay! Honestly the place is better than the pictures. Thank you Lynn!!

The home feels but larger because of the windows which provide great views of the pastures. The home is stocked and equipped with everything you would need for the stay. I was so impressed with how thought out and intentional everything was. I can tell much pride was taken in to building and maintaining the home. Will definitely return.
