I just stood here for a week, but would’ve stayed longer if it wasn’t booked already. Paul was such a great host, very kind, friendly and responsive. Totally worth it to stay here and hopefully I’ll come back again.

My daughter and son had to stay for a couple days while we got our floors done and they absolutely loved it. The vibes were amazing, the people were friendly, everything went wonderfully. Thank you for being such amazing hosts and I will of course recommend this place to anyone who needs a peaceful getaway.

Great location with lots of restaurants, bars, and stores right outside the front door. Very close to the river and local parks as well. The unit was clean and tidy. Julie was very responsive to any questions and left easy to follow instructions regarding check-in and checkout. Overall we were very happy with our stay! Our only minor issue was the lack of a sitting area/couch, but this didn't take away from the overall enjoyment we had during our stay!

Staying here felt like we were very much in our own home. It was easy to be comfortable here and there were lots of unexpected conveniences like seasonings and a wide variety of utensils, dishes, and cookware. I recommend a 10/10 and will definitely ask to stay again when we’re in the area.

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything was fantastic, the bed the TV and cozy warm room. They went out of their way to make sure my entrance and driveway was snow free. would love to stay again soon.

Relaxing home on the Fox river

This location is a great stay outside of the city. It has beautiful views of the river including plenty of wildlife. The host is very considerate in providing a LOT of firewood, bottled water, blankets, and towels for guests (we did not take advantage of the tackle). The home does have a very strong smell (patchouli or lavender maybe) which I don’t particularly care for but grew used to after some time. The shower was a bit funky to use and didn’t get especially hot. Host also says there is a full kitchen (I believe in the description somewhere) but there is no oven so we had gotten a take&bake pizza prior to our arrival which we couldn’t bake 😅. A problem easily solved but it would be good to add a complete list of appliances for future reference. Bridget is very kind and responsive, we had no issues.

Francisco was easy to communicate with, flexible, timely responding. Each room was accommodated as it was represented, clean. Kitchen was very well equipped, easy to cook and eat in. The living room allowed for easy social interaction. Parking was great. The house number was easy to locate, even at night. We are very appreciative of his checkout flexibility.
