The waterfront is famous for historic Battleship Iowa, San Pedro Fish Market, and maritime museums. Cruises, restaurants, and shops abound there. San Pedro is also accessible to the southern beach cities. Welcome to legendary traffic famous in LA : D San Pedro is on both a local and a city-wide bus line, but public transportation can be difficult and time-consuming. Uber and Lyft are widely available, but if you want to make the most of your time here, a rental car is ideal.
