Jamie was a perfect host. The house was lovely and homely. Perfectly clean with all the appliances and amenities. ideally situated to visit Runswick, Whitby and Saltburn. Thank you for a five star stay and we hope to be back ASAP!

Found this place due to a last minute cancellation and Thomas was extremely helpful in helping us settle in after we had booked this listing and we felt right at home, he responds very quickly and laid everything out for us before we even got to the location!

Ray’s lovely cottage lived up to expectations and beyond. There was ample room both inside and out. The furnishings and fittings were of a high standard and supplies of fresh , clean towels and lots of hot water was a bonus. Also the little extras to make you feel at home, tea , coffee , milk and a tea cake. I especially liked the private garden area and the lovely Summer house which was perfect for relaxing in after a days walking. Parking on site is also a big plus. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

What a lovely place to stay. Just had four nights at Keepers Cottage and it was perfect. The accommodation comprises of a lounge/dining room, small kitchen and outside seating area. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower. There is also a little room off the bathroom which houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The property was beautifully clean, fresh towels and bedding were provided. It felt comfortable and cosy, just perfect for two. There is a space at the rear of the property to park your car. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, it is about five minutes walk to the Post Gate Inn, which does excellent food. There is also the Horseshoe Hotel, within easy walking distance along the road, or over the stepping stones. The Witching Post and Wheatsheaf are about five minutes drive away up a very steep hill. It’s a handy place to visit nearby attractions like Goathland, Grosmont, Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay.
