Comfortable retro residence in a quiet, quaint community. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and strolling around the historic little village watching the birds. Margaret and Peter and very responsive and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. We were in town for a wedding and proximity to the events that weekend made this place perfect!

We loved the size of the home and appreciated two bedrooms. Kitchen facilities were more than adequate. All in all, it was comfortable and convenient to the areas we wished to see. It was in a quiet neighborhood but within easy driving to the areas we wished to see. We thank the owners for sharing it with us.

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, comfortable, and felt safe the entire time. There were a couple minor stains on the sheets when we arrived, but we washed them before and after — not a big deal at all and didn’t affect our experience. Super convenient location — only about an $8 Uber to downtown. Overall, 5 stars and would absolutely stay again!

Easy access off the highway, paved driveway with a carport . Restful retreat is a good name for this location. Very quiet. Plenty of room for a family with things for young children to do. You are 10 miles outside of town and the internet service will buffer every now and then. Blinds in the living room would help cut the glare in the afternoon while watching tv. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again in the future.

Had a short night stay, but the house was clean updated nice! Right off 75 and great for snowbirds and the like for a “half way stop” south! Had a business trip in Tn and it was a great location for us. Easy check in, clean, updated, great location!

would recommend this place..host has put the effort into the stay..has a cart to move items to your boat. Had a grill with propane in it . Thr host even paid so much attention to detail that he has bug lights you can use outside so you are not on porch getting ate up with bugs. The little things he has done made it amazing!! sometimes in life it's the little thoughts that go the extra mile.

The location and stay were perfect for the area to visit family while also have a genuine getaway to decompress and enjoy the insurmountable hiking trails and scenery. The peacefulness of the space was amazing and created a wonderful opportunity to rest.

Anna's place was perfect for us. The location, very close to UTK, was exactly what we wanted. We did a lot of walking. Anna stocked her place with everything we needed and more. Her answers to our questions were spot on. It was very nice to have parking too! We will definitely stay here again when traveling to Knoxville! Thanks, Anna!

Phenomenal house. Pool and hot tub were great. Ample towels and disposables (soap, tp, etc.). Definitely an older home but you can tell it has been well loved over the years. Only two complaints were one of the pool sticks had a missing top and the bottom trundle bed was not very sturdy. Overall though, phenomenal stay and will be back if available again in the future.

We loved our stay here and it was easy to get to. The inside furniture has been updated and looks great. The beds upstairs have very firm mattresses, I was a big fan, but just in case someone likes something softer, maybe try the downstairs bed.

Great place! It’s in a wonderful campground. I’ve been to many over the years and the staff here is above and beyond wonderful! Place was nice & clean. Perfect for a little getaway. The sites and views of the lake are beautiful! While here, make sure you hit the cantina!

Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. It was extremely pet friendly and really appreciated all the special touches. Will definitely book again when were in the area.

2nd time staying at Mike's. He's a great host with a nice place just outside of downtown Knoxville. His place is clean, comfy and has fast wifi. Mike is super responsive and has your best interest in mind.

Stayed here with my 68yr old parents, my best friend, her husband, and their 3yr old. This home felt so safe because of the thoughtful additions of handrails, under-stair lighting, and bolted down chairs on the dock! The home had everything we needed to spend quality time with each other! We enjoyed the kayaks, games, and especially the porch area where we completed a 1000pc puzzle. The property is beautiful, inside and out! The fishing was unbelievable the first few nights, my Dad had a blast!

This was perfect for my need of peace , quiet and kayaking 2 times a day with my dog . Everyday was better than the day before . I loved being visited by the Deer it started with 4 and lady count was 14 . They didn’t come close but was close enough they loved the pumpkin I cut up and spread about the tree line …. I 100% will come back to this place !!! I found my peace and quiet . Love this place , I would buy it if I could !!!

This log cabin feeling home was well appointed and a relaxing place to stay. It's well back off the road which was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room for my truck and boat. A couple of towns are within 15 mins or so but we also ate at the local diner 1/2mile down the road and enjoyed that was well.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean, and this is the first time I’ve written this for an Airbnb, the beds were very comfortable. Everything was well stocked. We were given a list of recommended restaurants, there were kayaks and life jackets for us to use, and the hosts were overall accommodating. We had a request and they called and explained where to find what we were looking for; they were extremely kind. My family will be sure to come back and we highly recommend booking here.

Our hosts were very responsive to every question we had. Their instructions were also clear on every aspect of our visit. Their home was the best equipped, with everything needed on hand, that we have ever visited. It was easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake and the surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay here in the Little Bluegill. Plenty of amenities, great lake access for smaller boats. We spent a lot of time on the back porch grilling and enjoying the weather. I would say the pros are new appliances to use, the inside of the house doesn’t struggle to stay at a comfortable temperature even at close to 90 degrees outside. Spacious bedrooms and bathroom. My only cons would be if you bring a group some of the vehicles have to park in the grass which is on a decent incline, but it’s perfectly manageable. Larger boats may not be able to use the on site boat ramp, but there are plenty that are only a few minutes down the road. Bring plenty of snacks, not much for local restaurants but some of the marinas have decent restaurants. We enjoy “The Crows Nest” restaurant at Blue Springs Marina. As for our host Tim is very easy to communicate with and quickly responds which is always appreciated. He also allowed us to extend our stay without any dramas.

Fantastic home on the water. I truly recommend this place!!
