The houseboat itself is a dream and super well located, if on the one hand you love the beauty and tranquility of the countryside, sheep and green meadows on your doorstep but on the other hand also like to go to the beach or to the cities. The train is quickly reached and this is a big plus in the parking situation in Amsterdam. Leonora and Erwin were easy to reach and always there for us when we had questions. Super nice hosts! Dear Hosts, We were warmly welcomed. Everything was sufficiently explained/ shown to us and the herb garden at the house was also at our disposal. We were also immediately helped with the bike search, Auke took care of everything and took us to the bike rental by car. The homemade apple juice (very tasty) and the fresh eggs were a lovely gesture. We felt very comfortable with the two of them!

It was really great with Julia. For my son, the garden with play equipment & chickens was the absolute highlight, for me the proximity to all possible excursion destinations: Föhr, Sylt, Husum. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and Julia and her family are really nice.

The most beautiful and comfortable accommodation we have been to in the Netherlands. A great host with passion, who enthusiastically talks about the area and the rich history. The communication was excellent and the beautiful, soothing environment ensures that you can relax completely. Absolutely recommended for everyone, we are guaranteed to come back!

We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend staying with Christine – especially for families with small children! Already upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. The play barn was decorated with a lot of love for detail and excellently equipped – a real paradise for our 2-year-old son. He was particularly enthusiastic about the animals, which he greeted every morning with joy. The time on the pasture was a real highlight for him, and he already misses the animal friends. The apartment also left nothing to be desired: very clean, well equipped and with everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. The large garden was a dream – with a natural pool, sauna and many play options for our little one. As parents, we were able to really switch off in between. The surroundings offer many beautiful excursion destinations, which are also easily doable with small children. We felt completely comfortable. Thanks for everything!!

what a lovely place to be. the yurt is spacious and well furnished. The pipo wagon with sanitary and kitchen is conveniently furnished and everything you need is there. Outside a wonderful space, with lots of fruit trees and a campfire place. Eda gave good tips of places where it was nice to be, suitable for me. In addition, a wide range of workshops to choose from. A very special place!

We have already been to this beautiful house several times and always feel very comfortable. It really has everything you need and both nature and Emden are really easy to reach.

We didn't want to leave! You immediately feel super comfortable and at home. The place is as shown in the pictures and although you know what to expect, you are pleasantly surprised. Werner contacted us proactively, is very friendly in communication and open to improvements, but hardly needs them. The apartment is very well equipped, very clean and the beds are also comfortable. The terrace is a highlight anyway and the seclusion gives you a lot of privacy. The location is very quiet and secluded. By car, however, you can still quickly reach shopping, restaurants and the North Sea. We have been able to do a lot, whether it's excursions to the islands or to Denmark. A true heart recommendation!

We had wonderful days in Inken's studio at the Wilhelminenhof. The decor is very stylish and you can feel that not only good ideas and a sense of interior design, but also passion are in it. The park-like garden, the playground, the foyer for guests, the wind-protected glass house, ... are also lovingly designed. We loved the path by the sea to Dornumersiel, the mudflat hike from the Wadden Sea Nature Park House, eating fish at the small harbor, the sheep on the dike and our day trip to Baltrum. Since we arrived by bus and train, we of course also loved the bus stop right in front of the house. Thanks for having us as guests.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The accommodation is very well equipped, so nothing is missing. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness – everything was immaculately maintained. The rental worked smoothly, the communication was friendly and straightforward. I can definitely recommend this apartment and would book here again anytime!

What an amazing place! even more beautiful than in the photos. the tiny house is completely private in the woods, wonderful to wake up with the sound of the birds, completely de-stress.. The area offers everything to discover. We even went to Denmark for a day where we visited a former WWII camp. The Baltic Sea is wonderful for a day at the beach! asita is the friendliest hostess we have experienced through airbnb. She wanted to do everything to make us happy! we were able to stay an extra night and gratefully made use of this!

A super nice and well-equipped place to stay, comfortable beds, great bathroom, great kitchen, great outdoor area. Gisela and her family are super child-friendly, you could tell right away. The place had toys, a high chair and the possibility of getting a crib. Gisela was super friendly and a great hostess. We will be happy to come back.

The time with Nadia and Søren was really good. Upon arrival, he explained the area to us, the best view for a beautiful sunset, how we can get to the water, a path over which we can also get to Middelfart on foot or by bike. He explained that we can help ourselves to the fresh chicken eggs, as well as in their garden, and that we can prepare it in the trailer or on the grill. Both have always offered their help and emphasized that we can always ask. The property is large and thus offers space for children to let off steam or for everyone to do their own thing (Attention, there are several entrances to the street, my child was very intensely exploring at the time and was often in front of the house after chasing the cats) The cleanliness of usable areas and in the bathroom was good. Only the dishes were somewhat to be faulted (not sufficiently available, residual dirt). We'll be back! 😊

We had a lovely stay despite the weather being a bit against us. The accommodation is complete and equipped with every comfort. Good bed, full kitchen, lovely shower. Location in nature. Beautiful for hiking and cycling. Contact with host was very pleasant. Worth repeating. Petri and René

We felt very comfortable at Ympkje's. The apartment was as shown in the pictures and very nicely decorated. As a welcome greeting, there was even cake and fresh flowers. The location was very quiet, easy to find and only 10 minutes from the sea. Ympkje was very helpful and always easy to reach. In the apartment you have everything you need for a stay. The only drawback is that the bedroom is not separated by a door from the rest of the apartment. We were there with our little son, highly recommend the accommodation and would travel there again at any time.

The farm house is peacefully located. I spotted two deers on my morning walk with the dog. There is more than enough space for everyone. We were six adults and two kids. The house is lovely and clean. You feel home immediately and it has all the amenities. The beds were comfortable. One night we even had a chef cooking for us which was truly an amazing experience (miesvdveen). Gelly was very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond sending us items that we left behind. Can totally recommend.

We immediately felt at home in this great accommodation! Mia made it easy for us with her hospitality to feel really comfortable right away. The accommodation is a gem, the garden a dream! For us as a family with a small child (4 years), a perfect place to relax, start excursions and just breathe! You can feel the attention to detail in every corner!

Cathrin is a great host. Very responsive and ready to help. Her place is very nice. And the garden is breathtaking. I would describe it as a two bedroom apartment with a nice beautiful loft that can function as a third bedroom. The space that is listed as a third bedroom is a couch in the kitchen area. If you are traveling with little kids this might function well for you but we were three adults and everyone needed some privacy. We solved the problem by using the beautiful loft area as a third bedroom and all was good. Overall, good experience.
