Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Wadden Sea

Elly and Simon's place was perfect for our 4 night stay. So nice to have a private little outside sitting area looking over the fields. Having the bikes was marvelous, we cycled to the beach through the forest (get Elly to give you directions) and stopped in the local towns for cafes, a fabulous lady day of the Keukenhof season, just a few minutes away by bike. We cycled along the peaceful, safe canal path to the Hillegom station to go to Haarlem for the day (and the train goes on to Amsterdam from there too). The bed was comfy, the shower was warm and clean and the wifi and TV worked fine. We used the aircon as is did get warm up in the loft bedspace but that was fine too, very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a very well equipped and well located space with lovely hosts.

Beautiful, characteristic farmhouse with a nice bathroom. The supermarket is ideally close by, and you can cycle in and out of the village.

We felt very comfortable. Rainaldo is a very nice host, was available at any time and was able to help us in minutes. Very nice, quiet and clean apartment overlooking the North Sea. This certainly wasn't our last stay there:)

We, Hennie, the dogs and I had a wonderful Ascension weekend at the sheepfold. The sheepfold is surrounded by lots of greenery and animals and a seat by the pond, a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The sheepfold is a cozy cottage and equipped with every comfort. We were very surprised by a well-stocked fridge with lots of fresh fruit, tasty cheese and even a glass of wine. The WiFi works perfectly. Our four-legged friends were warmly welcomed and enjoyed all the greenery and animals. Anthonie provided a warm welcome and we can look back on a few fantastic days. Thank you.

This was one of the most impressive Airbnb‘s I ever stayed & we felt incredibly lucky having booked Dirkjan‘s home!!! ♥️ Everything was even nicer than described & the garden was beautiful & huge & a great contrast to Amsterdam. A well looked after oasis! The view from the upper room was beyond words.. Dirkjan went above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible- communication was great, check-in simple & professional & the breakfast was incredible. We really love(d) the place & felt immediately at home. The cats & the duck offspring in the garden were a real delight & Dirkjan‘s love for the place - his father‘s legacy- could be felt throughout our stay.. Furthermore we could witness the host‘s talent - a great musician indeed & we thoroughly enjoyed an unexpected breakfast concert which made our stay an unforgettable lifetime experience! ♥️ THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! ♥️

A magical place that took us to a different era. Extremely peaceful surroundings for relaxation and peace. Hosts are very kind and welcoming. We'll be back and highly recommend this property 👍😀

It was a wonderful getaway. The location is very idyllic with the small stream by the garden. You can relax wonderfully. The garden is fully enclosed, which is really great for the dog. The house is totally cozy and you feel right at home.

We had a nice visit there we just wanted a place to sleep because we had to catch a flight. Rob is a nice guy he offered us breakfast as well but we had no time!

Petri’s place was comfortable for me. Cosy and clean room. 20 minutes away to the center by bus. Petri served us amazing breakfast with orange juice, tea, coffee, jams, Nutella, egg, cheese and tomato cucumber fresh bread which was delicious. Highly recommended

It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. We had our bikes with us and discovered many beautiful spots on earth in the area (Hoorn❤️) Thanks for the nice break. 💐💫Best regards, Sabine and Hartmut

We had a lovely Pentecost weekend! We had signed up for the Buitenkunst Festival Dronten, but did not feel like camping there on the premises. I always search for "Superhost" in the AirBNB app and Sonja's B&B was the closest. Sonja has earned the Superhost status with flying colors! Her B&B is not only called "Hoog in 't Vaandel" (High in the Banner), but is also located "Hoog in 't Vaandel" (at the back of the street, the Banner), but she also has hospitality and customer friendliness "Hoog in 't Vaandel". Breakfast was a feast every morning! And every morning completely different: variations of rolls, crackers, all kinds of cheese, meat toppings and sweet toppings, yogurt, custard, cruesli, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwis, mango, dried fruit, pancakes, sugar bread, crackers, breakfast cake, spakenburg cake, coffee rolls, banana bread, crueslirepen, fresh juice, grapefruit juice, flevosap, eggs etc! We felt very spoiled! We'd love to come back next year!

we had a fantastic weekend. Spacious bedroom, good beds and space to sit. Herma is a friendly helpful hostess. Breakfast is extensive and well cared for. The location is in a quiet place.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful house of Jochen & Hauke in Welt. The location was great and thanks to the many tips of the two, we were able to make great use of every day - thank you!

Very clean house, great breakfast, considerate host (didn’t make noise)! Just be aware that he does have a outside cat that sometimes comes inside the house!

It was an unforgettable and carefree vacation. The children felt very comfortable from the beginning, and we were able to completely switch off in the four days and simply forget the time. Wendy and Peter went to an incredible amount of trouble. You can feel how much heart they put into it. The children were able to play carefree while we enjoyed the time together to the fullest. The weather was mixed, but that didn't dampen the mood. The short rain showers were quickly over, and there was always enough time for beautiful experiences outside. The community with the other guests was also very pleasant, open, warm and uncomplicated. Mom's highlight: fondue and her own garden The highlight of Papa: hot tub and your own grill The highlight for the children: the playground and the fresh eggs in the morning We will definitely be back!

I had the most lovely stay at Ina’s hut. If you’re in doubt of booking this, do not hesitate!! Lovely location close to the ocean and energising to become one with nature. Ina is the sweetest lady and an awesome cook too. I definitely hope to return to this little paradise💚

Astrid and her Airbnb are absolutely wonderful and so is the medieval city of Amersfoort. She did everything she could possibly do to ensure I had a positive experience. Every morning I received a delicious breakfast, she took me shopping and suggested places to visit. The room is decorated beautifully and bed is very comfy too. She always responded to any questions I had quickly and always offered to help. Buses are a short walk from the home that will take you to the city or train station. You will not find a better B & B in Amersfoort or a better host! I highly recommend Astrid and her home.

Had a wonderful stay at Ragna & Samuel. Being able to park right in front and use the bikes to cycle to the city made us feel like real Amsterdammers! If you need any tips on restaurants, bars... Samuel is happy to help! 10/10 would (and will) recommend!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

I highly recommend the place to everyone :) I was there with a friend for her bachelorette party, since she's not a party animal, it was perfect there. We had a very lovely stay at Stig’s place. The house is as described and everything was nice and clean. The location was quiet and a close driving distance to Billund and other nearby cities. The host was also very responsive! Would visit again :)
