Beachfront vacation rentals in Virginia Beach

The only issue we had was our code for the building and parking did not work at first! Pam was very quick to resolve! There are no elevators in parking garage, I would take my stuff in at the entrance and then park! Dolphin run staff was not much help! We had a second car that we were supposed to get a parking permit for. They just told us to park and not worry about signs that clearly stated towed with no permit. Our car did NOT get towed!

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the pool and short walk to the beach. We could hear the ocean from the master suite. The upstairs deck had view of the water. Everything about our stay was perfect. The area was nice and was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back and stay longer next year. Thank you!!!

Family vacation for almost a week and everyone loved it! We definitely recommend families to come to the Blue Octopus for their next visit to Ocean View-Willoughby Spit. Friendly, clean and with all the amenities for the whole family.

What a beautiful place to stay. The house is lovely, the back yard was packed full of entertainment: salt water pool, fire pit, corn hole, fishing in the canal and if that isn’t enough it’s a short walk to the beach. The sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the canal were spectacular. We were a family of 8 and there was plenty of room. Christina was very responsive when we reached out and she put together an amazing house manual that included everything you needed to know from A-Z. Couldn’t be happier!!!

We had a lovely stay at Crystal’s while in town for a graduation. Crystal was proactive with directions, recommendations, and instructions, and she responded quickly to questions. The place was nicely decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen gadgets, beach chairs, games, and other necessities. This is a nice place for a getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Josh & Maegan’s place right on the beach! The building is on the last block of the boardwalk, which is a great location because you can get right on the boardwalk directly outside the building, but since it's at the end of the boardwalk, it is much quieter and less busy than further down. The building is older but very well kept up, as was the apartment. The building's pool is small but nice, and there is a grassy sitting area with chairs and tables directly off the beach, which was lovely to sit at. The apartment is small (would not recommend three people squeezing in there), but perfect for two people if you are not spending much time inside and has all the amenities you need to cook simple meals. I would absolutely stay again!

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.

My friends and I stayed during my husband’s birthday weekend and we loved it! We’re very home-body type people, so we were glad to feel comfortable in the bedrooms and common area. The jacuzzi was a wonderful bonus that I wish we would have enjoyed more often! I also appreciated the availability of towels, dishes, etc! The area is pretty quiet which was fine because we didn’t want to be too close to the noisiness closer to the beach. We would definitely stay again, thank you!

We traveled to Norfolk with our 2 young children and dog, the house couldn't have been better. Everything we needed was provided, including high chair and pack-n-play. We loved being able to travel to the zoo, aquarium, carousel, and great nearby library while we dealt with the rain and unfortunate beach closure. However, we were able to use the convenient beach access provided by the hosts and it was a great alternative. Great communication from the hosts and comfortable stay. Echo what others said about the road noise and construction but we came prepared thanks to the other reviews with blackout curtains and white noise machines.

We stayed a week at Kerri’s place in Virginia. She went above and beyond our expectations, very communicative and organized. She offered a ton of information and insights before and during our stay. Her place offers a delightful and relaxing getaway experience. The resort's picturesque location by the ocean provides stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. The resort amenities such as the pool, spa, and on-site restaurants add to the overall wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and dedicated to providing top-notch service to guests. Whether you're looking to relax by the beach or explore the nearby attractions, Boardwalk Resort is a fantastic choice for a vacation in Virginia. I would definitely recommend and revisit Kerri’s place.

Such an amazing getaway! The home was absolutely beautiful. Amazing views from every window. Talk about being right on the shore. I don’t have enough positive things to say about the property, location and host. We used to is as a family vacation getaway. We felt right at home, plenty of space for everyone to just enjoy our time.

If you’re looking for a perfect weekend or weeklong getaway, this is the place! The hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. The home — inside and out — was spotless and beautifully maintained, and it’s just a quick 15-minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

I could not wait to write a review about our stay. So much so that we are not even home yet. We had a glorious week at Bay Bliss! Bliss is the perfect description. Anywhere in this beautiful home you can hear the waves of the ocean. There was nothing better than listening to that while falling asleep on the comfiest bed in the master bedroom. Hosts were extremely responsive, helpful with local recommendations and extremely friendly. I have stayed at lot of AirBnb’s and hotels. Honestly, I have never felt so at home and I felt that way from the second I walked in the door. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay . The Condo was beautiful and Eddi was kind she allowed me and my sister to check in early. The beach at Sandbridge is lovely we had a nice time .

I had a wonderful stay at Kate’s home, it was easily 3 minutes to the beach, she had all the needed cooking utensils and even more! And even had some bathroom essentials that was really appreciated

Our stay was fantastic! The location couldn't be better, just a stone's throw from the beach. The property itself was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Mary was prompt and helpful in addressing the one minor issue that came up. We highly recommend this spot for a worry-free beach getaway!

The host was so kind and made sure we had a comfortable stay! The AC ended up not working due to an accidental mishap when she was working on her yard! She was able to get the AC fixed as we arrived to the Air BNB and we had the coolest room ever ( which we love) especially on a hot day! We are thankful for the time she took to get that done ASAP! She also had a wonderful cute cottage with all that you’d need for a short stay! It was equipped with great dishes and all the things you’d need for a perfect stay in a home :) it was extremely clean and decorated nicely for your small family! It also has a beautiful back yard oasis to sit out and relax or go for a swim :) you won’t want to miss this Airbnb!! Located near the beach and a great park and walking paths for you kiddos!! All you need nearby just a short walk away!! It was a great getaway for the weekend with a very kind host who is always there to help if needed :)

The cottage was in a nice quiet neighborhood, could walk the dog, it also has a fenced in yard. The home was exceptionally clean, it has all amenities needed, even a few extras, gas grill, beach chairs etc.. The bed was comfortable. Also enjoyed the water and snack basket that was left with a welcome note. Definitely recommend! Really felt like home! Short drive to restaurants and shops and a 2 minute drive to a cute little beach with lifeguards, restrooms and a free parking lot!

We were more than impressed with the place. It was so comfortable, so clean, so beautiful. Lots of places in the house to hangout outside. The walk to the beach is so short. The street that the house is on has a lot of places of entertainment, shopping, and food. Yun was always available if I needed anything and her instructions were clear and she was so kind. If I go back to Virginia Beach, I will definitely be looking for her place again.

Sam was very responsive whenever I sent her a message. I booked the house to have a place for when my daughter came home from a 9 month deployment. Sam allowed for check-in once the house was ready. Beach is a block away. Would recommend the house as there were no issues with our visit
