Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vaxholm Municipality

We stayed at Calle’s place for 2 weeks and had a great time. Family of 4 with a 12 year old and a 17 year old plus the teen’s girlfriend. Such a beautiful house, beautiful garden and perfect location. We made day trips to the archipelago and into Stockholm and we had lazy days just eating good food, swimming and sitting at cafes in Vaxholm. We had shopping days at Täby Centrum ang Mall of Scandinavia. We loved it all. Calle was also a perfect host, always quick to respond and super helpful. Tack!

Very nice house with proximity to nature. Quiet and lovely with a short walk to the beach by the lake. Always received quick and helpful answers from the host. The house is as nice in reality as the pictures show.

We had so much fun at Ola’s place. Amazing location, very comfortable and cosy place, and lots of things to cook with which we loved.

Patrik’s home is in a beautiful location, peaceful, away from the crowds, accessible for Stockholm and so many gorgeous islands. We loved our holiday and the house is stylish, comfortable and a joy in every way. Patrik and Malin were so kind and helpful. They told us where to swim, the best islands to visit and where to eat delicious Swedish food. I cannot thank them enough for helping to make our stay in Sweden so special and memorable!!

The place is as described, it is a beautiful large space, equipped, outdoor seating. The house was warm. The bus is a short walk, beautiful surroundings for walking. We had everything we needed, I would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lars‘ place. The area is beautiful and the view from the living area and balcony is outstanding. The house is modern and clean and also well equipped with everything needed. Check-in and communication was easy.

The house is at a beautiful location where we walked to the beach everyday. It is secluded and also convenient by car. There are beautiful lakes nearby. Ferries that took us into the archipelago or to Stockholm. I would recommend this house for anyone visiting Stockholm with a family and enjoys nature.

A beautiful apartment, spacious and in the perfect location to tour Stockholm

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

A stunning spacious apartment in a central but quiet location - what more could anyone want! Marie is a great host, very responsive and helpful.

Great apartment and very good value for money. The apartment is in a peaceful and safe neighbourhood which is very close to local public transport. We didn't have a car and took the local public busses for all transportation. This was not a problem whatsoever since there are frequent busses to the city just 200m from the apartment. We never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to get on a bus to the city. The local supermarket recommended by the host is extremely well stocked and has very good prices. The kitchen is also well equipped, so making food was not an issue. The host, Felix is very responsive, friendly and helpful. We arrived late in Stockholm, but Felix was online to answer any questions or help out if we had any problems in the apartment. I would definitely stay with the host if I visit Stockholm again.

Beautiful place with stunning views and a quiet neighborhood to relax in just outside the main portion of the city. Super easy to take the tram into downtown within an hour at a very cheap rate. Would highly recommend to others and I plan on returning someday.

We spent 10 days in the house and had a wonderful time. The house is great! It is very quiet, it was super clean an nicely furnished. We used the Ferry to Vaxholm/Stockholm and the little beach a lot (each 10min walk). Clara gave good advices for the area and the house. We are very thankful for a great holiday!

Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

Wonderful house in a very beautiful setting! We felt very comfortable there as a family. The absolute highlight is the large terrace with sunset guarantee, large gas grill and family-friendly table. We sat outside every night! Perfect connection to public transport, both ferry and bus, so we could easily and easily explore the Stockholm archipelago islands. This place was an absolute stroke of luck and we were grateful to have been there. Clear recommendation!

Gabriel’s was incredibly helpful, friendly and always responded very fast to any questions. He met us when we arrived on the island, showed us around the house and gave us lots of tips to island life. Stegasund is very beautiful, the perfect holiday escape. We settled in very fast and found life on the island such a treat between swimming off the jetty, tennis & walks. We even had the pleasure of chatting to a few of the locals. The house is beautifully designed and very homely to relax in. We rented Gabriel’s boat which I have to say was one of the highlights of the holiday and made us feel very authentic to the Archipelago way of life. In just a 5min boat ride you are over in Vaxholm which made getting supplies very easy. There is also plenty of lovely spots for lunch there too. For longer trips to explore other islands we used the public boats. I highly recommend Setusund & Gabriel’s stunning house. The Delahunty’s

Per’s place was delightful. From the tasteful decor, to the large yard, trampoline, Sonos speakers everywhere (including some very nice Bang and Olufsen towers), spacious rooms, well-stocked kitchen, easy-to-use steam room, comfortable beds, abundant kid toys to share, and safe, convenient location… our entire stay was wonderful! We would happily stay here again and appreciated staying in a home that was clearly lovingly curated by the family that lives here and graciously shared with summer guests. Thank you again!

Great time at a great place :-)

It was perfect for us! We were 3 adults with 2 children. The house is large and cozy, plus a nice garden for the kids to play in. The jetty is about 300 m behind the house, it is about 15 minutes walk to the large beach, bus stops to Stockholm or to the center of Vaxholm (3 stations) or to the large ferry terminal are also only about 300 m away. The ferries 83 which are included in the Sl card only run 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening or afternoon, for the other ferries which run all day you have to pay extra, but the ferry rides are fantastically beautiful. Otherwise, simply take the bus/metro to Stockholm. The landlord was always reachable and straightforward, and a later checkout was also no problem. Perfect place for a mix of Stockholm city and Vaxholm !!!
