Swimming facilities are available. 2 km to Gränsö nature reserve with nice hiking trails, 3 km to Västervik center. 1 km to Ekhagen golf course. Suitable for two or max three persons. It is nice to add a boat at our dock if you want to bring a boat. Well behaved dogs welcome, but wish they sleep in their own bed.

We loved the place from the first minute. The house is cozy and very personally furnished. The surroundings are beautiful and so quiet that we were able to relax immediately. A lake with a boat and picnic area was not too far away. Annsofi gave us many suggestions for excursions and hikes in the area. Vimmerby, Katthult, Bullerbü are easy to reach and we also visited the moose park. It was a journey through time and a slice of paradise. Thank you, Annsofi

We had a wonderful week with Michael and Therese in Nydal. The house is just amazing! Especially the huge window front with the great view of the private jetty with rowing boat inspired us every morning! The amenities are great, it has everything you need for a great stay. From our point of view, the house is perfect for 4 people. The location is quiet, by car Mönsteras is in approx. 5 minutes away. There you will find supermarkets, a gas station, a bakery, restaurants, shops and even a small cinema. We used the central location for some excursions to Öland and Kalmar or to Vimmerby.

I had three boys aged 16-21 at the end of May. The place was like a dream. We arrived at night, and the lake lay there, large, mighty and mysterious in the dark. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed four days fully with SUP boards, boat, swimming, sauna, walks around the lake, campfire and relaxation. Really cool to have it all to yourself. - The eldest son had to have the annex/cabin to himself! We dream of coming back in the middle of winter and ice fishing🎣, winter swimming 🥶 and then sauna🥵!!

We spent a few nights here and it was the perfect oasis away from city life. The aesthetics felt like walking into a well curated design magazine but with the comfort and coziness of a peaceful escape. Christin’s place had all the amenities we needed and had a great amount of local recommendations, and she was super responsive when we had questions. Would stay again!

What a wonderful coincidence. I booked Peter and Christel‘s place as my original one got cancelled and after all, I‘m so very happy I booked with them. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place. Peter and Christel are the most welcoming, kind and helpful hosts you can imagine. The outdoor kitchen is just amazing and it offers everything that you need. My room was very cosy, neat and quiet. Slept very well. Everything is very clean as well and I did not mind at all the shower (very modern and nice ☺️) was in another building while I had WC and sink in the same building as my room. Chats by the firewoods, spending time at a secluded lake, beautiful nature, invitation to a breakfast. I could have not asked for more, I‘m very grateful for the wonderful experiences and hospitality received. I strongly recommend booking with Peter and Christel.
