Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Valpolicella

This charming and historic apartment was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults, baby, and toddler. The location is amazing, on a quiet lane next to the castle, with incredible views across the town, lake, and castle. There is a small swimming cove just below the apartment suitable for adults or a quick dip with children. The wider pebble beach with a lifeguard is a short walk away, as is the ferry to Limone sul Garda. The town’s best gelato shop is around the corner, as is an excellent restaurant Paradiso Perduto (reserve ahead). Matteo and Ludovica were very hospitable and responsive, and met us in person at both check-in and departure. They arranged a complimentary transfer of our luggage with an ape, which was much appreciated across the cobblestone lanes. One thing to consider is if you are sensitive to heat, the two bedrooms on the upper floor can get quite warm in the summer months. We visited during an unseasonably warm June, but thankfully the fans were sufficient.

The House suited us perfectly. We loved sitting outside in the courtyard for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. It’s part of an amazing group of 16th Century buildings around the central courtyard. Once inside the gates, it was quite quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we enjoyed cooking there. The area is amazing with easy access to Lake Garda, Verona, and wineries in Valpolicella. Highly recommended!

Andrea’s place was wonderful. Nice walk to the heart of Verona, but the apartment (basically a house) is very spacious with much appreciated parking. Arrive and leave the car to explore the wonderful city of Verona!!! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicola's place. The space was outstanding and the view was a dream. The place is a little elevated and we recommend a car to go to Bardolino. Bardolino is also great with children and dog. It has a dog playground and lots of options for kids. The highlight was the little stroll.

We stayed for the first time in Saló and it was an exceptional experience. Cristina's house was the ideal solution to stay in a quiet place a few meters from the lake and the center of Saló. The house is beautiful, tidy and clean as we wanted. Cristina's dad and mom were very kind and helpful with any need. If we come back to this area, we will certainly come back here! Thank you.

Monica and Gabrielle made us feel right at home—they were incredibly welcoming and always responsive. Their place is absolutely amazing, and the photos truly don’t do it justice. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly, yet conveniently close to shops, restaurants, the mountains, and Lake Garda It’s clear that the hosts love what they do, and this is reflected in every detail of their home. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience, I couldn’t recommend their place more highly!

Everything great, very easy to find through the instructions from Jacques apartment as shown in the pictures. Just don't arrive with large luggage, as the apartment is on a steep alley, but if you are fit, it should not be a problem. The apartment is very nice and clean

The four of us had a wonderful stay at the property. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life than it looks in the photos. In particular, the terrace and the view are breathtaking. The kitchen was also great; all utensils available to cook for yourself. Otherwise, check-in and check-out with Hubert were great. We felt right at home with the friendly hosts. If we go to Lake Garda again, we'll be happy to come back. 😊

Enrico and Flavia’s Airbnb was perfect for us! 10/10 I would recommend and we’re already planning a trip back. The view was beautiful, Flavia was very friendly, and the space was super clean! We were 3 adults and a very active toddler and there was more than enough room for all of us. We did have a car which was helpful, we did lots of exploring from this location and didn’t want to leave. There was a pack n play and high chair for the baby which was great. Communication was seamless as well. We got there early and left a little bit late and Flavia was great with everything. If you’re on the fence about booking, just book you won’t regret it!

The place was lovely and completely sufficient! Very nice contact and quickly reachable for questions. The terrace is very beautiful, you have a view over the whole lake incl. Sunset. The apartment can be reached after 54 steps, as it is a penthouse. One challenge was definitely parking in the garage, especially with a large car. However, bicycles are available free of charge if you want to move the car only a little. We had a lovely holiday, would come back any time.

Beautiful stay! The hosts were very friendly and always quickly accessible, all our wishes were immediately taken into account. A small note: The address could be a little clearer in the documents, but thanks to the Google Maps link, that was not a problem. The location is perfect to unwind and enjoy the fantastic view. Garda is only about 10 minutes away by car. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

The place was great and Maurizio a great host. Even before arrival, he gave us tips on how to easily find his apartment. He waited for us in the apartment, even helped us with the luggage and showed us where to find everything. During the stay, he kept giving us tips on what to do. The apartment itself looks like the pictures: small and simple, but lovingly decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The absolute highlight was the sensational view of the valley and the church. The surroundings are quiet and offer many opportunities for hiking or water sports. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Giulio’s Brickhouse! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. Back yard was huge so we could play some footbal and pool nearby was perfect to hang out during hot days. The location was perfect—close to crowdy Verona that we wanted to see, yet peaceful and quiet at the property. I especially appreciated how responsive and friendly the host was; communication was clear, timely, and helpful throughout all our stay. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Whether you’re visiting for work or relaxation, this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

A beautiful apartment in a lovely location with fabulous views over Lake Garda. Inside super clean and tidy with marble floor keeping it super cool. Plenty of space for two people inside and outside on the large terrace with tables and chairs, loungers by the poolside and a fantastic brick built bbq for use. Set up on the lakeside up a steepish hill and a 1km walk into town if on foot - good exercise! Apartment had everything you needed to get away from it all - no tv which we didn't miss but good wifi and music sonos. Everything was excellent and we fully relaxed here and really enjoyed our stay. Simon and Andrea were super helpful hosts and went above and beyond to assist us. We would thoroughly recommend staying here to explore this lovely part of Italy.

We had a very lovely and relaxing time at the Villa. Diego was a friendly and helpful host and provided many great tips about the area. We visited in winter so the neighborhood was particularly quiet. The views of the lake were magnificent! The only suggestion would be a more modern TV and WiFi that reaches through the whole house. Outside of that, a very special property. Having a car is a must given the distance from the nearest village.

We had a great time at the place. Especially the outdoor area with pool and grill was our favorite place. The cute dog on the premises also enriched our vacation. Due to the great location of the house, we had the perfect mix of tranquility and proximity to great destinations, such as Verona or Lake Garda. Communication with Simone was very good. 🙂

Beautiful Villa for a Big family. Would love to stay again.

We had a wonderful time in this lovingly designed house – a real oasis of relaxation! I was there with my boyfriend and my parents, and we felt welcome from the first moment. The house is not only beautiful and perfectly equipped, but also the sweet dog Margot has won our hearts. Silvia and her husband were always approachable, incredibly warm and had great restaurant tips ready. We will definitely be back!

Place was well equipped, spacious and overall in pretty high standard relative to its price and purpose.sp Somewhat remote localization ensures peace and relaxation, but also bigger cities (close to Garda and Verona) are in 15-30 minutes drive proximity. Private garage with automatic gate fits 2 normal size cars easly (or 1 SUV, 1 normal with carefull parking). Owners are nice and helpfull. We spend there great time and are happy with our choice. There were only 2 slight inconveniences, 2 bed's frames were quite squeaky when you moved and some of the inner door locks (bathrooms/rooms) were tricky/hard to use. But its not really that much affecting anyone's visit, which we can recommend to everyone, just something owners can look into when they have a little of free time.

Manuela was a very friendly, helpful and conscientious hostess. She gave us great tips in advance and informed us about everything important. If there were any questions, she answered very quickly and tried to meet all needs. Her house is exactly as shown in the photos and description. We felt very comfortable at her place. Everything was clean and well maintained. The garden and pool were also great. We'd go back there any time. Lake Garda can be reached in a few minutes by car, as well as various shops and restaurants. Thank you so much for the pleasant stay :)
