Helen & Jack were wonderful hosts. We felt right at home in their cabin. Beautiful surroundings and a very peaceful space tucked aware with the wildlife. We loved their personal tips of where to explore and the breakfast was a great addition, meaning we had more time to explore Bellingen.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Lovely little apartment with a beautiful sea view and very quiet. It has a lovely sunny patio and you can watch the sun rise over the water. The position is great and only a short walk to the beach and town. Very comfortable bed and lovely quality linen. Great provisions including lovely homemade biscuits, great selection of teas, muesli and lots of pantry staples. Debra was great to deal with and provided lots of local information. Thanks for a very relaxing stay and all the little extras provided.

The home was lovely. Really spacious for what we needed. The location couldn't have been better for us as we brought our dog and there's a dog friendly beach about 2 minutes away. The bedrooms are well spread out and the kitchen is functional. But the best part was communication from the host which was both prompt and helpful.

Close to everything including the markets and restaurants. Everything provided, immaculate cleanliness. We didn't want to give a 5 star rating because then other people will want to stay there. Thank you so much, a pleasure to stay.

Absolutely spectacular views. A beautiful quiet getaway to unwind and relax. Peaceful surroundings and well set up to be able to stay in or venture out and explore the surrounds. Hosts are so friendly and accommodating. Cannot recommend it enough. I’ve stayed here twice and will definitely be back

This is a beautiful apartment very tastefully furnished, with a great verandah area very private with a lovely view. We felt very relaxed here and would have no hesitation recommending this beautiful apartment for a stay in Coffs Harbour.

We keep coming back here when we stay in Sawtell and it doesn’t disappoint. Great place to stay, lovely location and helpful host. Will be back!

Our stay at Matariki was nothing short of exceptional. Our host, Julie, was warm, welcoming, proactive in her communication and quick to respond to questions. The welcome basket was great and Julie’s sourdough is worth fighting for! The location is very convenient and peaceful and the accommodation is very comfortable. This will be a return address for us … for sure.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely house in Coffs Harbour. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything, with fantastic restaurants just a short walk away, especially one of them has become our favourite should we come back again for another visit! The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire booking and stay. It made the whole experience feel very welcoming and stress-free. We especially enjoyed the scenic coastal and beach walks around the area—Coffs Harbour is truly a gem for nature lovers and people enjoying bush walk activities. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would definitely love to stay here again in the future! Thanks Jodi.

Lynn's house is exactly as the photos show. Fantastic location close to the main street with lots of good cafes. We spent one day going to the Dorrigo National Pk and came home via the Never Never Land. The Crystall Falls waterfall was one of the best we have been to in Australia. The house was spotless and very roomy and comfortable. Lynn is a great host and we really had a good 4 days. Thanks again David and Jo.

Beautiful location, short drive to all the local attractions as well as the Coffs Harbour town. Well equipped kitchen facilities & lounge room upstairs from ground level bedroom/bathroom. Faces East, so plenty of light. Good views of the beaches/surf from upstairs. Aircon upstairs and in the single bedroom downstairs. Open air parking right outside the unit. Good amenities as bbq area/tennis court beyond which is the beach access via walkway over a small pond frequented by water birds. Don’t recommend swimming off this beach though. Good for walks only. Nice overall.

Ken’s unit is spacious, full of natural light and very comfortable to relax in. The outlook that sweeps around the living area is just stunning. What you get to enjoy on a one hour loop from the house is Equally amazing. We loved it.

I booked this apartment last minute and it was great!!! It’s a lot more spacious than it appears in the photos and really cozy. AMAZING views from the apartment being on the 5th floor. I think it probably has some of the best round views you can get in holiday accommodation there. I could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view for half the day. Some of the decor was like a time time warp to the 80s which I also loved! Very clean tidy cosy but spacious. Easy walk to cafe or beach or dine out.

Ignacio and Jill are great hosts. Very friendly and gracious. Their unit is peaceful and has everything you need for your stay. I’d recommend them to anyone.
