Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Uusimaa

Thank you for the wonderful days, the place was a real gem. Communication was straightforward and there were clear instructions for everything!

We had a wonderful one night stay at Veronica’s place. We loved the sauna and the atmosphere in the cottage in candle and moonlight, sitting by the fire. The cottage is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. There are other cottages nearby but it felt private and the view of the sea is beautiful. The grounds are rather difficult to get around and of course you have to be prepared for the lack of electricity or running water - but we knew that in advance. Water and firewood were well stocked, which was great. We would love to come back sometime!

When you arrive at the apartment, you will be greeted by a pleasant and calm host and wonderful soothing music playing upstairs. The apartment was wonderfully bright and the host showed us around. The luxurious sauna and shower area was one of the things we liked a lot. Although the apartment was rented with the idea of an inn, we still felt that we were left alone and our space was respected. We had good conversations with the host and overall this left a good and grateful feeling. I can highly recommend if you like bohemian and calming community, where you respect others and still give space to retreat to your own space.

We had a great stay at Aleksi’s place! It was our first trip to Helsinki in a very long time and the location is great! Aleksi is an attentive and responsive host - his place is just clean, the location is quiet but conveniently close to the water with a great view and also the city centre. The apartment is spacious and cozy with everything we needed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a spot that’s scenic but walkable. Thank you for the great stay!

Very close to the train station and a 10 min train ride to city centre, super well equipped kitchen and the hosts were very friendly and respond to your queries asap :)

Great place to stay. The premises were neat and the train station was conveniently close. The ventilation valve was on the road side, which lets in some traffic noise. Earplugs can be useful for those with a more sensitive sleep. The bathroom is quite compact and the shower is not the largest, but it is a so-called normal size, so you can wash yourself.

Perfect stay for group of 5 for the weekend. Smooth check in & out, large space and great views - easy walk to and from main train station to get to airport. Would recommend!

This was a wonderful experience. Beautiful, quirky building and a real home feel with paintings and winding stairs. Location very convenient with lovely bar opposite and easy transport links and brilliant transport system . I enjoyed the sauna too. Warm welcome to beautiful Helsinki and its welcoming people. Jaako and his wife were superb hosts. I stayed in a historic wooden house with a fascinating history. It had been tastefully renovated while retaining its original features. The kitchen was absolutly fantastic too. Charging the rental Electric Vehicule was free of charge. The house is connected to the local government tap water system, which was superb!!! When I go back to visit Helsinki I will definitely try to rent this amazing place again. Although it's close to Helsinki, You feel like you're living in the countryside. Thanks!

Beautiful and cozy house by the sea with a great view. I loved a lot on the deck! Good kitchen equipment, spices, dry goods, etc., and comfortable beds. There may be traffic from the boat dock next door and in the summer, not very private. However, during our stay, we just didn't see anyone, and we were left alone 😊

We had a great time with our 2-year-old and a dog. The surroundings were peaceful, looking through the big windows, it really felt like nature was coming all the way. We spent 3 nights, longer would have been entertained. Covered pool rescue when the weather in May wasn't yet summer enough. The yard and interior are cozy and functional. In the guest book more.
