“The cabin is really well situated in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. You can see in every direction from the many windows in the house, which is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and suited for great cooking. The living room is cozy and the fireplace is nice. It takes some time to heat it up but the warmth is really nice. Antti gave us enough wood for three days, which was amazing. The master bed is really nice and there are enough pillows. Pro tip: if you want to sleep together, be sure to bring something to tie the two beds together. The shower is great and the water in the entire cabin heats up really quick. The surrounding area is rough and great. We went for an amazing hike close to the border with Norway. Sad that we had to leave. Could have stayed for a couple of days more.”

You have privacy, but the grocery stores are just 5 mins away. Enjoy the winter activities in the Arctic Tundra: cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky- and reindeer sledding. Make trips to Norway and see the Arctic Ocean. In the summer season, you can go fishing, mountain biking, and hiking.
“Hannu is a gifted host who welcomed and accommodated us in a very cozy cottage. He also organized exciting activities for us, such as a husky sled day, a snow motorcycle ride in the wilderness, etc. We received many valuable tips and were equipped to combat the cold. We can highly recommend this place and the host and would be happy if we could spend our holidays there again. Hannu is a gifted host who welcomed and accommodated us in a very cozy cottage. A semi-detached, semi-detached holiday home in a beautiful location along the Tenojoki River, 16 km from Utsjoki Church at Karigasniemi. Quiet location, across the river in Norway. Sauna, own drum well. Possibility to get wet / swim in the Teno. The wood stove baking oven warms up and creates an atmosphere. In the courtyard fireplace.
“The cottage was clean and lovely bed sheets were great for a rest. Good and spacious use of floor space. Lovely scenery right from the dining table. We were only three nights, so we weren't able to go through all of Aul's tips. We went to the diner (Deatnu) and the tip was true, the food was good. I highly recommend this place to others.”
