The house has a unique design by architect Janer Lagarreta, and has wide stone walls that provide adequate thermal comfort, as well as on the second floor, where insulation is provided by double walls of solid bricks. El Nido Treehouse is a fully equipped little casita in the middle of our trees in our farm in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay with a deck with a view of the vineyards, swings, hammocks, a pool and even a place to light a fire and cook a barbacue! We are 10 kilometers away from Colonia, a 15 minute drive. Taxis to and from El Nido cost approximately 14 dollars and is the way most of our guests get to the houses. No kids allowed.
