A beautifully designed house for bringing friends and families together offering huge social spaces to entertain in with everything that you need. Outside lounging with open fireplace, dining and BBQ. And if you have a boat: A private mooring at the front of the house. 4 kingsize bedrooms on the first floor and on the top floor is a huge open plan loft suite with a king sized bed and a King sized sofa bed as well a large lounging area with 3 sofas and a television...
What guests are saying:“Gregory’s beautiful house was the perfect location for a Boxing Day family gathering. The open plan living/dining area leading to the gorgeous kitchen made for a wonderfully relaxing few days and the beds were really comfortable. We loved the huge sparkly tree and the Christmas music playing when we arrived, a lovely touch! The village is quiet, there is a shop next door for essentials and some of us went on a nice circular walk for a couple of hours but the house is so gorgeous and well equipped that you really won’t want to leave it for long. Only small niggle is that it would have been great if both bathrooms had a shower, but we were in no rush - might be trickier if people are under time pressure. Gregory was very quick to respond to messages and really helpful. A magical few days for everyone.”
Entered via electric gates with a sweeping gravelled drive The Farmhouse comprises of 4 double bedrooms, which can easily accommodate 12. Stylishly decorated throughout with a mix of old and modern, something to suit all tastes. Plenty to do both indoors/outdoors, from heated pool to cosy log fires. The Farmhouse is in a semi rural location surrounded by beautiful Fenland countryside, clear starry nights and amazing sunsets the norm. We are happy to host parties for any celebration.
What guests are saying:“I booked this place for my sister’s 30th birthday celebration. We were a group of 17 girls and we had the best weekend! The house is absolutely beautiful! It was the perfect party house. The conservatory was lit up by fairy lights and looked so pretty in the evening. There was plenty of room for parking and the garden was so pretty and spacious. The pool was lovely and warm and there were lots of fun inflatables provided! Maxine was an amazing host. She’s so lovely and super accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed with a fridge full of condiments, a bottle of Prosecco, a delicious cake and chocolates! The thoughtful little touches really made the stay so special. I can’t recommend this house and Maxine enough! I will definitely be booking to come back again very soon.”
Tuck yourself away behind the roses and enjoy the peace and privacy of the garden room. With your own entrance (with key) you can come and go as you please. (Sorry but the dogs are liable to bark if they spot you!) Wifi access is included although we are not in a high speed area. Breakfast of cereals, bread, milk and (if required) sausages, bacon, eggs etc provided for you to cook your own at a time to suit you.
What guests are saying:“Mary's place is located in a beautiful garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Inside is a very cosy space with everything you'd need and more for a comfortable stay. The decor is homely and stylish. The whole place was spottlessly clean on arrival. The bathroom has a spacious shower, with fast hot water (perfect for winter stays!). The kitchenette was also easy to use, with all the cooking accessories, seasoning, cutlery etc. needed. There was also lots of useful info available for local places to see (we took Mary's advice on going to the pub in Tilney All Saints for tea). Mary was very thoughtful in providing us with options for breakfast, drinks and snacks. We only saw the dogs once who were lovely and came over for some fuss. Highly reccomended place to stay if you're in the area!”
