The Old House is a beautifully quirky and rustic 400 year old thatched cottage set within an English country garden; we are nestled in the lee of St Kenelm’s Church in the heart of Upton Snodsbury. You’ll love the heavily beamed ceilings and timber framed walls, it has many original features and the cosy rooms have warm rugs, comfy sofas and log burning stoves. We enjoy welcoming visitors from the world over to share the sense of history in our little patch of Worcestershire.
“Lynda’s cottage is every bit as charming as the photos suggest. On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome and given tea and cake in front of a roaring log fire in the cozy sitting room. A delicious full English breakfast was provided in the lovely farmhouse style kitchen, setting us up for the active day we had planned. If you want an authentic country cottage experience with an absolutely delightful host, we cannot recommend Lynda’s place highly enough!”
A lovely little annex, situated at the end of the beautiful village of Fladbury. The annexe is a quiet country location in a row of 4 cottages and boasts views over open fields. The location offers direct access to footpaths along the river Avon and water meadows. It is walking distance to the village pubs and famous local butcher. The annex is completely self contained and is privately fenced all around with its own designated parking place. Key safe access means no need for check in.
“A very sweet annex, cleaned to a very high standard and with some nice little touches. The little fire heats up in no time and makes it very cosy in there. Hannah was quick at responding to messages and made the check in process all very easy with detailed instructions on how to reach the property, and having a lock box to make check in more flexible. We found the place great value for money and are hoping to return in the future. Highly recommended!”
Beautiful self-contained studio annex with patio and garden, located a short 10 minute drive from Worcester city centre. Good public transport links with Worcester Parkway train station only 1.4 miles away. Garden centre, hairdresser, beauticians, massage, post office, pubs, fish & chip and chinese restaurants all located locally. Pefect for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers.
“Very much as described on AirBNB, this is an ideal self-contained stop-over (we were visiting friends) or for a longer stay around Worcester. It is at the end of a quiet and secluded rural lane with great privacy, having its own entrance and patio area, and everything finished to a lovely standard. Our host - Wendy - was super keen to help, but also got the balance right in leaving us to settle in and enjoy. We would definitely stay again. Good quality all round.”
