Waterfront vacation rentals in Umbria

Excellent location, set in nature yet close to town, lake, and other amenities. Well fit-out accommodation, though a kettle and a couple of other basic kitchen items weren't included. Great option for pure peace and relaxation with no frills.

We had a wonderful weekend, the place is wonderful, the house is perfect, clean, tidy and the kitchen has everything you need. Having breakfast while looking at the lake is lovely!!! The owner is a very kind person, we had a great time. We will definitely be back.

Valerie immediately responded to our booking request. She gave us clear directions and good local restaurant suggestions. Simona was our main contact point during our stay. She was waiting for us when we arrived and is a perfect and welcoming host! She was readily available for all of our needs and even made a reservation for a local restaurant for us. The home and grounds have a countryside rustic and local feel. It is away from the touristy hill towns, yet they are easily accessible for day trips by car. If you like to get a feel for how the locals live during your travels, Colle Sul Lago is an awesome find.

Really loved this apartment. It was airy and spotless. The only thing I would note is that the balconies are quite high, so you can't see the lake from inside the apartment. You can only see it if you step outside and look over the balcony. Other than that, the apartment is great. The town of Marta is very quiet and charming, making this a great place to stay if you want to enjoy Italy off the beaten path.

Apartment as described and photos. Set in a peaceful and pleasant setting. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and nothing was missing. Lisa has always responded quickly to requests sent by message. Good base for visiting the villages of Lake Trasimeno and some towns not far away (Perugia, Assisi,...)

The apartment is characterized by impeccable cleanliness and excellent location, a stone's throw from the lakefront and the village of Bolsena. Communication with Maurizio was excellent.

Really nice place for our needs. Stefano and Marta made us feel comfortable: we were impeccably welcomed in an accommodation that was exactly what we expected. Lots of positive surprises. To recommend and keep in mind for the future... Five deserved stars!

Comfortable apartment, very clean, located inside a beautiful garden. Easily reached by car and with the possibility of parking on the property. Friendly hosts and very attentive to our needs. Very pleasant hospitality and knowledge of the guests. Super recommended.

Staying at Paolo's place was really relaxing. Everything was as described and the location was really great, a two-minute walk to the lake and not far from beaches and restaurants. A special compliment goes to the host's availability who has always responded quickly and kindly. Highly recommended

Nice place to stay. Lots to discover around. Not as expensive as Tuscany. If you want to get to know Umbria, it's the right place. Car is a must. Thrived great. It was very hot this year but the pool helped to relax. The place is highly recommended. Anke and her husband are very attentive people and did everything to make you feel comfortable.

This is a lovely place with a stunning view. It is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. There are many restaurants all around, as well as shops and a grocery store close by. The owners are very responsive and helpful and I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!

Colline’s place was everything we needed for our trip to Tuoro. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and with a beautiful view of the valley, it is a perfectly located spot situated on the road to many of the villas in the area; as well as being close to groceries, restaurants, and civic services such as the police station/church/park. Would rebook again!

Giovanni is excellent host very responsive met us outside to show us in. Apartment only 2 min walk from wonderful array of restaurants. 100m or so from beautiful Trasimeno lake. Great location from which to explore nearby Umbrian and Tuscany wonders. Apartment spotless. View of lake. Excellent mosquito meshes ensure no insects. Very quiet neighbours . Apartment cool and spacious and air conditioning makes it extra comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

What can I say….this is the most beautiful apartment! We explored a few places in Italy as we came for a wedding and this was my favourite spot! The lake is incredible and waking up to that view, everything in the apartment was thought out for guests and the bed was the comfiest thing I have slept in! Would 100% recommend anyone to stay here ☺️
