“A very clean and quiet place to stay. Perfect for our needs. My fiancé and I wanted somewhere quiet to relax for the night after spending the day in Bristol and found this the perfect place. The beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well. The bathroom was clean and the shower nice and powerful. A kettle with tea/coffee making facilities were provided, as well as a tv. Our host let us know that there were some local places we could go out and eat but as we had already eaten in Bristol we did not go out for food so unable to comment about what they are like. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and will not hesitate to book again if we are ever in the same area, cannot fault at all!”

“Frances’s place was perfect for an overnight stay after our friends wedding at nearby Coombe Lodge. The cottage has everything you could need and we loved all of the little thoughtful touches - we just wish we could have stayed for longer than one night! Thank you for everything Fran!”
Come and 'wild camp' in our beautiful ancient woodland , less than 10 minutes walk from Cheddar gorge on the sunny slopes of the Mendip Hills.
“For anyone on the hunt for peace, tranquillity and getting stuck in with nature this is the best place we have found to date. Chris was a fantastic, friendly host who is very laid back. We were able to scout his beautiful 3 acre woodland and pitch our tent wherever we liked with the added bonus of being able to scavenge for fallen branches and logs to build our own fire. We were safe in the knowledge of knowing we wouldn't be disturbed too as the entire woodland was ours for the night. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the owls calling and the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, away from it all. We will definitely be back!”
