Vacation rentals with lake access in Tulum

AMAZING VILLA AND HOSTS! Family of 6 and had more than enough room for everyone. We really enjoyed the smaller roof top pool due to the views and it was a bit warmer at night. House was clean and furniture was beautiful! It’s not really walking distance to anything, but Akumal is a 5 min drive and has lots to offer. Highly suggest Imelda’s Ecocina for breakfast and Turtle Bay Cafe for tacos. Went twice to each during our stay. We saw about 8-10 what we originally thought were monkey playing in the backyard for 30 mins or so (still not sure what they were but it was a cool experience). There were BIG and small iguanas all over the back which was so cool!!! We loved it!! I can’t say enough about the hosts Marcela… I have never experienced a host as friendly and as responsive as she was. I bugged her every day and she always responded immediately and provided such great recommendations for our family! My mom left her phone in the house and Marcela took it to Fedex same day. The home was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—beautiful and welcoming. The only issue was an unpleasant odor coming from one of the bathrooms, which we discovered was due to the toilet brush. Once we identified the source, we placed the brush in the backyard, and the smell was no longer a problem. The home was clean, the instructions were clear, and the property itself was stunning—just steps away from the beach. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

We recently stayed at Roberto’s villa in Tulum Country Club community and it was fantastic! The property is in a gated community with security and we never felt worried about anything. The listing pictures were exactly as what was there! We were a group of 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids under the age of 10) and the space fit us well. The villa is in walking distance to a local market to grab anything you may have missed to bring, as well as several restaurants and bars (Taco, Burger, Pizza, Steak House, Sports bar). Although with kids walking may be a bit far. We rented a golf cart from a local and made everything a breeze to get around. There are also free resort shuttles to take you to 1 of the 4 resorts on property if you purchase a day pass (get them from the Club house!!) Only complaint was that there was some electrical blips when power switched from Solar to the grid and there was no hair dryer as was listed. So really nothing crazy. Will definitely come back!!

everything was perfect in the house the road in is a little ruff and path to cenote is now not accessible. I love the peacefulness of the location away from the hustle and noise of town. a vehicle is a must but short drive to town and beaches. I recommend this location to people that like peace and quite.I had great stay and would definitely come back

Simone’s cenote retreat was a dream! We loved our time in the jungle at this special villa. Very comfortable couch and beds, a well appointed kitchen and amazing surroundings. We got to swim in two private cenotes on the property and woke up early to see sleeping monkeys in the treetops from the giant deck. We are already dreaming about returning. Thank you for hosting us!

Alvaro's family house is charming and authentic. The team on site is friendly. The chef cooks very, very well, and it is essential to use his services, because there is nothing around the property. Don't think about a restaurant, a store, or access to Tulum. The property is very far from everything and the road is super difficult to access (3 hours of road with holes, our children were sick..). On the way back, we took a boat on the lagoon, it was expensive but so much better than the car. Alvaro organized everything, he's great, much more than just a host. Overall, we had an amazing experience, very peaceful and authentic. We loved it !!

One of a kind snorkeling and bay location. Private Oasis which is very hard to find in Cancun. Located in the middle of everything. Snorkeling equipment provided, meal service also provided and 24 hours security. Hot tub got very HOT!! Was super happy with the place and host. Will be back.

Super recommended. Location on paved street, and only 5 minutes from the hotel zone. By the way there are self-service stores. Super good facilities, in optimal condition, very clean both the listing and the condominium itself. Very nice to take pictures with walkways with greenery. The cenote is a special point, to meditate and relax. It is open you can swim in it, not huge but perfect for 2 to 4 people, I was always alone. The restaurant offers excellent quality food. The accommodation is very clean, equipped, very clean bathroom, very good internet, complete and functional kitchen. The terrace super nice to relax, read, and the outside jacuzzi super clean and comfortable temperature. Totally recommended!

It's a pretty spacious penthouse. I stayed with my family of 8 people aged 14-70 and we were very comfortable, each with their own space, bathroom, a private jacuzzi with ocean views, but there was also the pool in case everyone wanted to get in. The space feels new, well-equipped, the kitchen is amazing with everything you need to cook whatever you want. Very comfortable beds, with very nice sheets, everything felt very elegant. There's even a washing machine (which we don't use) I highly recommend this place if you're looking for privacy, relaxation, beautiful views and the comforts of home.

I really loved this place and it was everything we were looking for. It was very conveniently located to go anywhere we wanted throughout Tulum as well as being comfortable, safe, and private with the rear patio and plunge pool. The condo was equivalent to staying in a luxury resort with comfortable mattresses, linens, plush pillows, and spa quality towels. The co-host Mario was fantastic and so helpful providing information and recommendations!

Very nice place and great attention from Oscar. Recommended to stay and relax. The facilities are spectacular and there is a lot of freedom in them. A very pleasant stay.

We enjoyed staying here. We came here twice. It's good value for money and a spacious appartment. The pool is nice and it's quiet at night. I think the kitchen could use some sharper knifes and a towel for drying dishes but other than that it was perfect for us. Especially the large bed! We could use Netflix and were close to the supermarket and the car rental companies.

Perfect location in a secure complex with a nice pool & gym. The unit was spacious, comfortable, had fast WiFi and an awesome balcony too. I would recommend bringing your own shower supplies, but otherwise it was a great trip. There was a delicious bowl/smoothie bar 0.5 miles away called Matcha Mama I would recommend highly. Oscar was awesome - friendly, helpful & easy to work with.
