Vacation rentals with a kayak in Tuggerah Lake

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. I didn’t want to leave this beautiful home! Waking up to the view of the lagoon and the sound of birds singing was truly magical. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and felt like a peaceful retreat. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch and absolutely delicious. BOOK THE STAY! Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our weekend here. The hosts are responsive and helpful, the short boat transfer from the marina is seamless ( thanks Collin), and the views from the house are unbeatable. The wifi is fast, the smart TV’a were great , the house is well stocked, and you have everything you need to relax. We had an absolutely magical time and though we live out of the country we will make every effort to come back!

The treehouse is in such a tranquil and beautiful spot. Inside is very cosy and between the wood stove and gas heater it was toasty warm inside on cold evenings. The kitchen is very well set up with everything you could need for cooking and also a good selection of sauces, tea, coffee and staples. The treehouse has been very thoughtfully set up with nice touches like blankets on the balcony. Highly recommended for a relaxing place to get away close to Sydney..we thoroughly enjoyed it!!

our stay at pure valley ( she oaks ) was indeed memorable, the place was beautiful and clean . Scott was really helpful and flexible for us to early check in . Definitely worth the visit .

We stayed at Pelican Palace over the long weekend and had a fantastic time! The place was clean, well-kept, and had a cozy vibe—especially with the fireplace going at night. We loved the extra touches like the pool table and the chance to go kayaking—it made the whole trip feel like a proper getaway. A great spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break .

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The views were absolutely stunning – waking up to the calm water just outside our window was magical, as was the serene sunset. It was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing two-night stay, including a cheese platter provided. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Howard was a wonderful host. The house was immaculate even came in to awesome music playing when we first arrived, the scenery was breathtaking and the overall experience was something you don’t get often in the city. My partner and I will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at this waterfront property. The views were stunning and the little touches, like a bottle of wine on arrival, were a nice addition. 4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

Had an amazing stay at The Careel Chalet! The property was just steps from the sand, and waking up to the sound of the waves was pure bliss. The space was bright, airy, and super clean. The outdoor area was a highlight, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks with a view of the ocean. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque beach escape!

We had a great long weekend stay at Anders' Great Mackeral Cabin. The cabin is a bit tricky to get to with small kids and a bit of luggage but it was an adventure and Anders was extremely helpful in making sure we were well prepared and had everything we needed. Once we were there the cabin had everything we needed and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. The views from the cabin are spectacular and we loved spending some time in the bush and down at the beach. We would definitely travel back to the cabin for another visit.

Excellent cabin in a lovely tranquil location. Great hosts with everything that you need in the cabin plus more, to have a relaxing time outside of the city. Great for fishing and beach walks, close to amentities if you need to stock up on food too.

Idyllic location. Lots of leisure equipment to make the weekend fun. Just what we were looking for. Helen was extremely helpful and responsive. Will definitely be going back for another visit!

Gorgeous place to stay, helpful info from Nicky, wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is so peaceful and loved it even in the cold of winter. Enjoyed paddling there on our kayak from Mooney Mooney, such a stunning part of the world so close to Sydney and wonderful to arrive and enjoy the hot shower and a cup of tea!
