“Helen and Shane's place is a beautiful, cosy, rustic cottage that's perfect for an escape to the countryside. It had about every possible household amenity we could ever need, and Helen had added lots thoughtful touches that made the cottage feel like a home away form home. She popped round on the second day and when we met her she was extremely welcoming and friendly. Overall, an all around lovely cottage, and a stay there is thoroughly recommend .”
Beautifully furnished apartment with it's own entrance. It has a stunning view of the Burren. It is within walking distance of the Monastic Settlement of Kilmacduagh. It is only 10 km from Kinvara and the Wild Atlantic Way. It is only 7 minutes from Gort which has a great selection of restaurants and pubs.
“We would highly recommend this nice and cozy place. We could easily discover the whole area from there. Paula and Bernard are very friendly and helpfull and they share a lot of local knowledge with us. When we arrived we got home-baked scones, fresh eggs from their own hands and fruit from the garden. We are very welcome! Thanks again, we had a gorgeous week! We had a great week in Ireland. The cottage is in one ideal place: Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, but also Connemara and Limerick are very easily accessible from there! Paula and Bernard are very hospitable, and gave tips on what to see and do in the area. On arrival the stove was burning and we received eggs, plums from our own garden and freshly baked scones. A very warm welcome. This place is really recommended!”
The property is located on a quiet country road within a stones throw of the local pub and a 2 minute walk to the local church. The area is very quiet for a relaxing break
“I stayed here for a little under a month while I was working in Ennis and it was so ideal. I had a lovely experience staying here which added to my work experience. Niamh was truly an amazing host and always so helpful and accommodating, leaving the fridge topped up with water, fresh fruit, milk etc. I thoroughly enjoyed coming back here every day after work, it was such a cosy room and one I could easily spend hours chilling out in. Everything was so comfortable, I genuinely can't praise this stay enough. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. From here I managed to take in ennis, limerick, the burren, gort and galway city. It was a suitable location and hopefully one I may come back to in the future.”
