Cottage sleeps 10, Hot Tub, Snowdonia, Log Burner

BeckyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Lovely old house with plenty of space. Close to town and about an hour from the longest and fastest Zipline in the world, which is why we were traveling. Hot tub was a good size, but too hot at times and couldn't turn it down, but we still used it. The house has everything we needed, although I'd reccomend bringing spare toilet roll with you. There were added extras such as hand wash and shampoo available, and in the kitchen there was an air fryer and plenty of glasses, cups and plates. Even a small amount of stock items in the cupboards, such as tea, coffee etc. Due to the age of the building the floors upstairs and the stairs were quite uneven, but this can't be helped and didn't take away from the lovely house. However, anyone with limited mobility might struggle. Great location with two pubs and a chip shop, as well as a shop. Thanks for having us.

Cottage for two with Hot tub on Mt Snowdon

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely weekend break at Rosie’s property, the location was excellent just off the Rhyd Ddu path and in a lovely quaint quiet area. The cottage had everything you could ask for and was very clean and tidy, the hot tub being a lovely little touch. Had a really great experience from start to finish, Rosie was very helpful and the instructions provided were excellent. Would recommend to anyone contemplating!

Rhosneigr holiday cottage hot tub & small orchard

AshleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just returned from a lovely few days away at this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and had everything you would need with a hot tub and sky as an added bonus!! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so didn’t get chance to sit outside in the lovely garden but it didn’t affect us having a fab time in the hot tub! I found the house great especially with a crawling 10 month old as it’s all on one level. We took our own travel cot and small highchair as I wasn’t sure if this was provided but we didn’t ask so it may have been. We would love to return in the future I can imagine it being amazing in the sun. Paul and Emma were very responsive checking if we found the place ok and replied straight away to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We also found it great value for money. Thanks again for a lovely stay. 😊

A fantastic cottage for an old group of friends to reminisce and explore Snowdonia. Everyone really enjoyed the stay, spending most of the down time in the huge kitchen. Welsh Cottage (Grade II listed) with eco features

HelenRating, 5 stars1 day ago
A cottage with a conscience, we particularly liked the living roof on the extension & also the toilet & tap twinning in the bathroom. We had a great 3 night break. Check in was very easy, there is good parking, just a one minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is absolutely lovely, well kit out with tasteful furniture, artwork & beautiful Melin Tregwynt soft furnishings. We enjoyed the log burner & had plenty of logs & kindling in the cottage. We loved eating at Y Marram, just under 2 miles away. Excellent food & very friendly staff; they kindly sold us a jar of their excellent Pickled Walnut Ketchup. We also ate at The Oyster Catcher & Dylan's, both good but for us Y Marram won the day. Highlight of the trip was a visit to Sawna Bach, just 20 mins drive away. We paid for an 80 minute session & loved heading into the sea to cool off, great value at just £23 per person. A cosy cottage with a lovely garden. We would very happily return. Thank you Gemma & Ian. x

Characterful 17th Century Barn Conversion

KatieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here for a belated anniversary getaway and absolutely loved it! The cottage was exactly as described. It felt like a home away from home and the views were stunning. We wanted a break from the city and we got it! It was so peaceful. We loved having the log burner so we could get nice and cosy in the evenings playing board games. The cottage is close to lots of amazing walks, and not too far to drive to others. Belinda is a fantastic host. Before we arrived she sent loads of walk recommendations and clear instructions on how to find the place. There’s a handy booklet in the living room and lots of leaflets on things to do. We stopped to have a chat with Belinda and she’s so lovely. It’s obvious how much care is put into the place. Whilst we were sad to be leaving, we’re so glad we chose to stay here and we’ll definitely come back again. Thank you Belinda!

Anglesey cottage, stunning sea view, dog friendly

MaggieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is our third stay at the cottage and it never fails to delight us. It’s located in the perfect spot, a quiet area, but great access to various places on the island. There is a dog proof private field adjoining the property for our whippet to have a run around when she is in the mood. Also, the garden is dog proof too. Lovely views of the bay and some incredible sunsets. Pippa has put in bird feeders so if you are an avid bird watcher you won’t be disappointed. The cottage is well equipped, warm and cosy making you feel at home the minute you arrive. There is also a grassy area opposite the cottage where you can park your car if it’s too big to park in the drive. Although, make sure you don’t block the entrance to the field. Thank you Pippa for all the goodies you provided us when we arrived and for the great communication prior to our stay. We cannot wait to come back next year and explore further.

NinaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Sally’s cottage. We enjoyed a meal and drinks at the pub just over the road on our first evening and the staff were extremely helpful when advising on the best way to access the paths to Snowdon. The cottage was perfectly located to climb Snowdon. We walk the very short distance to the start of the Rydd Ddu path and returned down the Ranger Path. We then walked the 1.6 miles back to the cottage which of as a nice cool down walk for our legs! The cottage was also a great base to explore Caernarfon, Conwy, Bangor and Llandudno, which we did a tour of by car in a day. Back to the cottage itself and it was immaculate. There are a few steep steps to access the garden but once there you are gifted wonderful views of Snowdon and the steam train carrying passengers to the summit. Sally provided everything you could think of, including dishwasher tablets, tea, sugar and coffee! I would highly recommend!

We are just home from a lovely week. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and our Cockapoo Billy! Just as described and has the most amazing shower (as you’ll see from other reviews, many agree!) Cottage is 5 mins from the bridge onto Anglesey so close to so many places, and roads in Wales seem so good! Just wish we had found the time to walk from the cottage to Plas Newydd. Would definitely recommend and Nina was a great host. Thank you for a lovely stay

Hand Crafted Studio in secret Snowdonia Valley

AdamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Down in a secluded valley, where your neighbours include ancient trees, a babbling brook and a hooting owl, there is a barn. This barn has been designed with the utmost care and attention drawing on natural and reclaimed materials. Light floods the space during the day and provides a comfortable, warm refuge from which you can watch the brooding clouds as they threaten you from up above the surrounding hills. At night you are plunged into a deep, natural darkness. The location is perfect for those seeking some degree of solitude or to be immersed in nature. Only a short drive delivers you into the heart of Snowdonia but there are countless miles to explore on the doorstep for those wanting to evade the crowds. Anna is a perfect host. You could go your entire stay without seeing her but if you need her, she's there. Anna and Andy are kind and interesting people and clearly love the space that they have created. I'm only grateful that they are willing to share it.

Romantic Grade 2 Listed Cottage in Maentwrog

We had a great stay in Catrin’s cottage. The location was ideal for us - in a picturesque, quiet village, but within easy driving distance of Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, the Ffestiniog Railway and all of the other attractions in and around the Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park. There was also an excellent restaurant and pub (The Grapes) within a few minutes’ walk - Sunday lunch there was a particular highlight. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, well designed and equipped with everything that we needed. The quirky design made the most of the available space, and the view of the Vale of Ffestiniog from the kitchen and bedroom windows was magnificent. The log burner was a bonus, especially as we ‘enjoyed’ some typical North Wales weather during our stay! Catrin was an excellent host, and the pre-check in information that she provided meant that we were able to find the cottage easily despite its secluded location. Overall highly recommended - we’d definitely stay again.

Lots of quirky furnishings and fittings, very well equipped, comfortable beds and nice touch of welcome gifts and quality toiletries. Great location away from, but near to, all local amenities. Friendly neighbours and attentive host. A beautiful little place to spend a few days enjoying nature and relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. 👍

The cottage is lovely. The wild meadow garden is really good and great to sit and relax by. It was great to see the tawny owl as a regular visitor. All facilities in the cottage were great. The bed is massive and very comfy. Steve is a great host. He was very responsive to any questions asked. He’s very welcoming and approachable and very interested in making sure our visit was the best it could be. We are very interested in wildlife and Steve was very knowledgeable about all of it. He was able to guide us to places we had not seen before and what to look out for whilst we were there. The location is central so ideal for visiting any part of the island. We would highly recommend it to everyone.
