Beachfront vacation rentals in Torcross

Stay Salty was excelent, central location and very close to a car park. Dog friendly and a beach just round the corner within easy walking distance. a couple of 100 yds. As bad weather was expected on one day Matt offered to supply extra dog towels if needed, totally unexpected but shows the level of service. Teignmouth was good and within easy reach of larger town if the need was there. Would recommend it to anyone who fancied the area along the glourous South Devon Coast.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

A lovely home, well equipped and close to all amenities. We had a great week there. Would thoroughly recommend though not necessarily for the less agile. Several steps in the house and steep staircase to upstairs. But has a beautiful downstairs bedroom and shower room.

The garden flat is a very pleasent place to stay. Everything in the kitchen works well, the bathroom is lovely and the bed very comfortable. The outside space is a great space to sit and watch what's happening in the estuary. Claire is a good host, friendly and amenable. The village of Shaldon is easy to walk to, with a couple of nice pubs , and friendly people. All in all, a very nice place to spend some time.

What a treat! We had a 4 night stay in this beautiful house where every last detail has been thought about to add to your enjoyment and comfort. Everything was first class, very comfortable beds and pillows, spotless bathrooms with proper size towels, plenty of good cutlery and tableware, utensils for cooking if you wanted to cook. The house was a delight with lovely deep sofas overlooking one of the balconies to the ever changing landscape of the waters beyond. It would be hard not to enjoy whatever the weather throws at you! We've stayed at many Airbnb's but have to say Luke's place was one of the best. Quiet surroundings, an easy walk into town and a beautiful, scented garden to enjoy your coffee (machine supplied). In fact, Luke's place had everything you'd need for a perfect beach holiday. Prosecco and cream tea much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Bee's was perfect. It is so quiet and well appointed we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Bee and her husband were both very welcoming and helpful. The location was very good to explore the local area. We would highly recommend it.

Another lovely stay at Palmdene. This place really is home from home and so comfortable. Love being able to stare out to see from both the kitchen and the living room. Everything we need is there. Great place for going onto Paignton beach (approx 10 mins) or go over the top and head to Goodrington beach, it will take a bit longer but the views are stunning. Booking again very soon.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! Really friendly host, she was quick to reply to any questions. Caravan was lovely, with lovely views of the sea. Bit of a busy resort, but the kids loved it. Would stay again.

This is the second year we’ve stayed here and we can’t wait to visit again. The apartment is a perfect visiting the surrounding towns and beaches. South Milton beach is literally on your doorstep with great access to the south west coastal path. The outdoor heated pool was lovely for days when the sea was just a little bit too cold and the balconies were ideal for the amazing sunsets.

Wonderful - with a beautiful sea view that made it very special. Modern, clean and nicely decorated/equipped. We stayed as four women friends and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t know each other well or are physically large, the space is relatively small with only the one bathroom - which is clear from the listing - but worth bearing in mind.

We had a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely spectacular—well worth the climb up the steps. You can see the entire estuary from the house, with yachts gliding by and the steam train tooting across the water—just magical. The house was spacious and had everything we needed, including four toilets, which was a real bonus for a group. It was clean, tidy, and felt like a real home from home. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs—safe, secure, and totally private, with no neighbours overlooking. It felt incredibly peaceful yet was only a 10-minute walk down into Dartmouth. We’d definitely come back!

We’re a young family of 6 and stayed for 4 nights during the Summer half-term holiday. The apartment is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. It is very well located next to South Sands beach and adjacent to the Harbour Beach hotel. It was great to be able to make use of the pool & spa in the hotel. We all had a great time, and this apartment will definitely be on our shortlist for our next trip to Salcombe!

Beryl’s cottage is an absolute gem. Spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and thoughtfully furnished, it made for one of the most comfortable stays we’ve had. The bed was exceptionally comfortable — we slept like logs — and the towels were luxuriously soft, a lovely touch that didn’t go unnoticed. The heating worked instantly and kept the whole place warm and cosy, even on cooler evenings. One of our favourite moments was sitting outside with a glass of wine, taking in the stunning beach view — truly peaceful and relaxing. We had zero issues throughout our stay, and it was a pleasure to meet Beryl herself — such a kind and welcoming host. If we had to mention one small suggestion, it would be the lounge chairs — they were a little on the firm side, and a two-seater sofa might make the space even more comfortable for relaxing indoors. That said, this didn’t take away from a fantastic experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beachside escape.

THANK YOU! The most amazing break we have had in the UK in months. We loved the location and the house was a totally calming paradise. We have busy lives in London, and we had the most restful weekend here. Weather was a mixture of storms and sunny days, therefore we had a taste of everything. We have a place in Branscombe so usually stay there, but it was so nice to stay somewhere that we loved just as much. Just perfect and cannot wait to return. The place is stunning, so clean and just as the photos shown. Access also super easy and the tesco within walking distance is so handy. Thank you again! xxx

Wow! What an amazing place this is - it’s even more beautiful than the pictures! Jo and David are wonderful hosts, David even met us at the car park and helped up carry our bags down to the property. Great communication from Jo before we arrived with really clear instructions, super flexible with arrival time. We had the most wonderful weekend and will absolutely be back, can’t fault it, absolutely no negatives.

Ben was amazing start to finish. Helpful, friendly, like visiting an old friend. We had quite a few luggages and reached there quite late, almost dark. We were panicking where to park and how to carry all the luggage to the chalet. But came to rescue, came to our car, helped us find a parking space and also gave us hand with carrying the luggage. What more we can ask for? Amazing experience. Thanks Ben.

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

A lovely place in a beautiful spot. Our host was very attentive with helpful local knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. The place was pristine, comfy beds and lovely hot shower. Loved the sea views. I'd definitely recommend as a base for surfing nearby or just a relaxing getaway.
