Beachfront vacation rentals in Toplou

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night to visit our son, so we can only give an impression. A beautiful cottage on the hillside surrounded by olive trees and potted plants on the large terrace. A beautiful view of the sea, lots of peace, really nice to relax.

Irene was so helpful, quickly responding to any questions we had throughout our stay! Her apartment is truly right by the sea with captivating views of the rest of the city built in the hills to the west and beautiful views in front and to the east of the port. We highly recommend her as a super host! We have stayed in many Air B & B’s and her apartment in Sitia is now one of our favorites!😊💕

A really enjoyable stay at Platankia. It was extremely well equipped and had everything you would need and more, only thing that would help would a microwave - the kids really enjoyed the toys that were in the beach basket and kept them entertained without the need for a TV etc. Be warned wifi is a bit slow but great if you want to disconnect from the Internet for a while. Some really great restaurants, would recommend Vespas for Pizzas and Vitsalo is great for seafood. Everyone in town is extremely friendly and kind and Myrtos is always contactable if you have any other queries. We enjoyed being able to pick oranges and lemons and made enough lemonade to sink a battleship! I really enjoyed the hmock and the slide and swing is great for children. It is extremely private as you have large greenhouses on both sides but at the same time it is super easy to walk into town. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back. The gorge is worth seeing and lots of other stuff

Perfect little apartment overlooking the sea and the port. It was spotlessly clean and just like the pictures. Just a short walk to the harbor for restaurants and beaches.

We booked Michails place for the second time and will probably come back again. Our toddler daughter loved to run through the spacious apartment. The kids bed is great as well. One more thing: Michail replaced the broken washing machine with a new one after realizing that we planned on using it which was extremely helpful. Obviously the views are amazing and the location is great if you want to discover the beaches in the area. Also Ferma beach, which is just a 2 min walk away is very cozy and great for little children.

In April/May, I spent 4 wonderful weeks in the great clean apartment. From the large balcony, the sea was very easy to see and I could also hear the sound of the waves. The apartment is in a very quiet area. The large beach with trees for enough shade is just 2 minutes away. The delightful place can be reached in about 10 minutes. There you will find nice taverns, shops and supermarkets, a small harbor and a long sandy beach. From here you can make very nice excursions to the mountains, to beautiful beaches and larger towns! A very special thank you to Ianna (who spoiled me with delicious pastries and Greek delicacies) and her husband Aris for the warm hospitality. Efcharistó polý!!!

Great, spacious apartment in a complex with 3 pools (incl. Children's pool) and small snack bar. Makrygialos beach is beautifully flat and sandy and 3 minutes away by car. Shady trees line the shore, making it a perfect place for families with young children. You have to drive a little longer to the large supermarket, but there is also a fruit and vegetable shop directly along the street. Dimitri is very helpful and regularly checks the many plants in the front yard, so he is also very easily accessible. As a family, we would definitely come back and recommend the accommodation.

The descriptions, instructions and recommendations for restaurants by Jean René fit wonderfully. It is a brand new, modern house with very good, new amenities. It was all very clean and nice. Beautiful bright rooms, a beautiful pool right by the house, a great roof terrace! Thanks to the air conditioning in every room, hot days and nights can also be spent there. We were there in June, the beach was still very empty, but all the shops and restaurants were already open. And - I stopped it - it's only a 1-minute walk to the beach!

We had a wonderful 15 days! ☀️ The place is very nice, super modern, comfortable and everyone was very nice! The pool was also great and always clean. Only a few meters walk was a beautiful beach, where you can also have a great breakfast. To get to the next town or other beaches, however, you need a vehicle - the nice lady at the reception also took care of that and we were picked up to get to the rental and also brought back to the accommodation when returning the quad. All in all, we were completely satisfied and didn't want to leave. Thank you for everything! 🤍

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

The place was clean, modern and we loved the proximity to the beach. It was nice to have fruits, wine and crackers provided as we arrived late in the evening. The swimming pool was also excellent. I would love to come back!

It was wonderful, the boys and I loved the fire and outdoor whirl, but also the beautiful rural setting and the starry night sky. Even homemade baked goods were brought to us. They were very lovely hosts. Thank you.

House impeccable as in the listing, close to shops, restaurants, beaches, main road. La canée, Gorges de samaria 5 hours by car. We had a great time. Thank you.

Thanks to Mpampis. He does a great job and is very nice and polite and is always happy to help and is there when you need him. He owns a café directly on the beach, 200m from the Beach House, which I can also highly recommend.

Great accommodation, right on the beach! We had perfect swimming weather at the end of October and the beach completely to ourselves! Sidonia is very remote, in the off-season there is still 1 tavern open, you have to be aware of that! Great for relaxing and simply enjoying the beach and sea.

Excellent location, right in the city centre and lots of restaurants within a stones throw. Fabulous balcony with a view over the harbour and out to sea.Flat was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There are some steep stairs to access the flat so not the right place for anyone with mobility issues but fine for most others.

We had an amazing week - we really enjoyed the house and its amenities and the beach is just across the street, so it’s a great place to disconnect and enjoy. If you like to run, there’s a long beach just a few mins away. Hosts were great, very responsive and super helpful. 100% recommend, would definitely come back.

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

We had a love stay! Irene was communicative, check in was easy, and her home is ideally located. We enjoyed spending evenings on the patio, cooking meals at home, and snorkeling at the beach below the house. We found a really lovely taverna about 5 mins away that we enjoyed frequenting, as well as a market nearby. We enjoyed exploring this part of Crete and loved having Irene’s home to come back to each day. Highly recommend!
