We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Beautiful place, quiet and peaceful location. Appreciated that the master bedroom was downstairs, while the kids were upstairs. Lake is huge, and is super quiet, only saw 1 boat on the water while we were there. Nice fire pit with wood included. Hot tub was a a big hit. Would definitely rent again :)

We stayed at the Bambi Inn on Art Farm and loved everything about it! The space is thoughtfully designed with cheerful custom art and decor. The hosts designed a custom manual/booklet that blows the typical air bnb binder out of the water. The home was well equipped with everything you might need from extra blankets & towels, to kitchen and bathroom needs, first aid supplies, sunscreen, bugspray, and more. It’s impossible not to smile when arriving at the Bambi Inn. The hosts provide bicycles to use for the short ride to beautiful Lamoine Beach. We were able to get to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other neighboring towns with ease. I’d highly recommend booking here!

I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Great stay; were very accommodating about our repeated, rather last-minute extensions of our stay. All I would say is that if you’re visiting in winter , you’ll definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the house! But other than that, it was perfect for our needs and we really appreciated how accommodating Hui, Roger, and Cindy were of our changing plans. Very well stocked with cleaning supplies and kitchen things as well. Tub was really nice for my little one and we enjoyed the wood stove. Also very clear instructions and ultra quick response times. Very private. I’m sure in warmer months the fire pit outside area are really nice; as wintertime guests, once we got the car in, we appreciated being able to park so close and the absence of stairs or steps to navigate and the covered porch in front of the entry for loading and unloading.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Judith’s cottage in Deer Isle. Judith, her partner Linda, and Kate (Linda's daughter) were incredibly welcoming—always kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations about the area, from hiking trails and restaurants to local shops and the island’s fascinating history. We truly enjoyed our conversations with them, and they were also very respectful of our privacy. The cottage is rustic but cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the garden and views of the cove were beautiful. It’s also a great location for exploring Deer Isle, the Blue Hill Peninsula, and even Acadia National Park. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would gladly return!

This was a truly magical stay! Peaceful, private, comfortable… The most well thought out and welcoming off-grid lodging I’ve ever stayed in! The cabin itself is spectacular and the surrounding garden and forest are just enchanted. Rod was an incredible host, responsive and so accommodating when I needed to shift my reservation. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Don’t even hesitate on this one!

This was a perfect location for hiking Acadia! The cabin had everything we needed and felt very private and comfortable. We would definitely book again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Cabin is a rare find in New England since it was modern, pet friendly and secluded with its own hiking trail connected to a charming farm. The furniture, decor and lighting delivered an amazing glamping experience. But above that, host was sensational with local recommendations and exceeded all expectations to make our stay pleasant.

Beautiful cabin, in a very nice area if you’re interested in going to Bangor and Bar Harbor. The town nearby, Ellsworth, offers the necessities! The road was rough, but I can’t really complain in the off-season, and my truck isn’t suited for roads like that, which is no fault of the Airbnb itself! Would gladly stay here again

This Airbnb was a perfect spot for a couple to explore all of Mount Desert Island . We stayed for 6 nights and experienced Maine’s beautiful fall foliage. It was exactly as described - peaceful and private - away from busy bar harbor - but easy enough 15 min drive to and from and to Park entrance. we enjoyed the fire pit, cozy living area and used the kitchen to cook in after busy days on the trail … would highly recommend. And Traveling Lobster right down the road is amuse for Best Lobster Rolls !

Carrie is the best. Super responsive. Made out trip so easy. And the cabin! Perfect, private getaway on the lake. Literally steps from the water. Great little spot to sit and have a fire outside. Cozy little place with decent kitchen. Spotless when we got there.and made for a vey memorable trip four our son’s graduation weekend. Oh, and the pepper was nice and fresh. :)

My husband and I had a great stay. We really enjoyed the fire pit outside in the evenings. The home was very cozy and had everything we needed. Close drive to Bangor.

There isn't anything I would change about this beautiful family built camp cabin in the woods or our trip. It was just my husband, five year old daughter and me and we enjoyed the cove , the flora and fauna, and just enjoying time together inside this cozy and private cabin. There is lots to do at the cabin and also in the surrounding areas. For us, this was the authentic Maine experience. Highly recommend.

Ann's place is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The views from the back deck are stunning! Ann was also very responsive when we needed some help figuring out a small issue with an appliance. I would definitely stay here again!

I cannot say enough good things about this airbnb. The scenery was so beautiful, like walking out into a fairytale tale. We visited in the fall which enhanced everything. The cabin was very comfortable, the bed was super comfy. It has everything you need including peace, serenity, and good vibes. We will be back!

The cabin was very comfortable, quiet, and just as described. Everything you need for cooking is already there. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, wifi was amazing. We went kayaking one day and it was beautiful. There are tons of rocks just below the surface of the water near the islands but you can see them because the water is so clear. The drive to the cabin is a long gravel road and thankfully we have 4WD because it might have been harder to get up the driveway from the cabin if we didn’t. There were loons on the pond every day and night but they were fun to see and hear. We also had some hummingbirds visit the feeder at the cabin and loved watching them our whole stay. The water from the faucet is from the lake but it’s so clear you almost wouldn’t know it. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, natural place to relax.
