Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. Great little cottage which me and my daughter stayed at for 2 nights to break up our drive from Edinburgh to Essex. Clean and tidy. Garden was cute but unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind Tony’s. We did manage to drive to Mam Tor and walk up and then went to Buxton. We did visit the Olive tree too in the village.

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

A fantastic stay at Quince Cottage. It was spotlessly clean with luxurious bedding and a lovely comfy bed. In a great location and has everything you might need (and more) for your visit. Rebecca was really helpful and gave some great recommendations. 5 stars - highly recommended!

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. They felt incredibly welcome and throughly enjoyed their stay, they’d definitely return! Thank you Sarah for providing such a lovely home for their stay!

Excellent property, fantastic location, great local pub, lovely walks! Jo was an excellent host. The one hiccup was checking in, we didn't have access to the code for the key lock on arrival. The app said contact the 'host', so we did. The problem was, 'Jo' was on her hols too, so not immediately responsive. Jo said this was an issue she had not experienced before, but was able to sort the problem immediately. We couldn't have asked for more than that. Thank you for letting us stay at your home Jo.

We had a lovely time, the cottage was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed and more. Very comfortable, bed, and living space. Private outdoor seating area, perfect for relaxing after a days walking. Lovely welcome bottle of wine, milk, tea and coffee for when we arrived. Katherine was a responsive host and replied to our queries quickly. Offered advice about where to go in the area. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Village pub was friendly and food was good. Definitely recommend this house and will be returning.

Beautiful apartment right in the centre of Castleton! Lots of restaurants/pubs, small convenience shops, and amazing views right on your doorstep. Marieanne was so friendly and always responsive, and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will have to visit again next time we’re in Castleton!

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. Lovely comfortable beds, nice little touches left by Nick, we really appreciated the bread and condiments. Nick was very helpful and we would love to stay again if the chance ever arises. Thank you!

We were visiting Buxton for 2 shows at the Opera House & the apartment is perfectly placed for this, being just a few minutes walk away, also the Pavilion Gardens and loads of places to eat & drink. Apartment is beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with pretty, sunny little cottage-style garden to front. The main bedroom is lovely, really comfortable bed. Our friend stayed in the basement bedroom and did comment that it was cold BUT he was very warm and comfortable once in bed. Wish we had stayed longer, if only to take advantage of the huge selection of dvds and books 😊. Thankyou, Heather, Kim and Lorna for a really great (too short) stay.

Had a great time , my son and I were fishing the River Wye , and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My only caveat is the parking problem . As we were out all day we had to find a space each evening.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. Wow wow wow! What an amazing place to stay. Beautifully historic but with a modern touch to it and so spacious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to family/friends. Jane was a very helpful host with offering recommendations on places to eat nearby too. Would really recommend The Swan Inn. The only downside is the 10am check out policy (we felt this was quite early).

Very amazing space, would be great for a couple getaway, supplied with menus for takeaway places, has a lovely home feeling to it
