Amazing apartment and great host. I would give a ten star review if I can. Alfonso and Tonino are very kind hosts and always offering to help. The view is fantastic and the apartment is in a peaceful nice mountain village. The apartment is very nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, great water pressure especially hot water even though it is in the mountains. Bus stop to train is at the door step. Grocery, bakery, butcher and restaurants are all few minutes walk. Tonino and family were super kind and genuine. They invited us to a family party that they had the first day we arrived and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We were also greeted with a gift on arrival and Tonino’s mom gave me a very precious handmade gift that I will cherish for life. Thank you Alfonso , Tonino and family for everything. Highly recommend the place and would love to stay there again.

Ticciano is a small peaceful countryside, beautiful views, good wine and food at a local wine bar. Villa Cinque is clean, well equipped and comfortable. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. It's best to rent a car for your stay (it's definitely small because the roads are narrow).

We had a wonderful week in La Mandra and highly recommend it. Ombretta and her family are exceptionally warm and attentive hosts who make the stay memorable with a lot of love for detail. The house is well equipped. A real highlight were the fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden as well as the lemons right from the tree. The location is great for day trips in the area. And in the evening you come back to this little oasis of peace and quiet and end the day relaxed.

Our stay at Maria's was almost perfect. The place itself is spotless, very well cared for and has everything one might need - even a complimentary bottle of wine and some snacks. Maria is a great host and always in touch. We got all necessary instructions and great recommendations from her (make sure you visit Frate Cosimo for a very good pizza with a view). The only problem we had is that Google Maps has an incorrect location for a provided address and we couldn't find the place right away. Until it's fixed I would suggest contacting Maria for the exact location before you go.
