Anna was an excellent host — very friendly, responsive, and made sure I felt comfortable and at home. The space was spotless and well-equipped. Unfortunately my stay was a short , overnight stop to split up a long journey so unsure what the area has to offer but the property was in quiet neighbourhood with a convenient shop in a short walking distance. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone

The cottage was exactly as described and we felt very comfortable from the first minute. Checking in and out was smooth. We only missed the driveway on our first attempt, but that's on us not being experienced drivers in the countryside, the description is very much step by step. Graham provided us with plenty of information and recommendations already prior to our arrival and always replied within the shortest time. We loved our time at the cottage and greatly recommend it! I have now stayed here twice for courses at Hawkwood College. It is cosy, quiet and convenient. Gemma leaves the basics ready for breakfast which is really considerate on your first night. There is a Tesco Express an easy walk away for further supplies. The hot water supply and pressure is really good which is always a key point for me.

Lovely cottage, the views are stunning and the location on the common is perfect. John was a great host, would definitely recommend!
