Great location with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and at the same time very quiet, too. Comfy bed and great facilities with everything you need. Plus chocolate easter eggs! Hosts are very friendly and easy going, making for a relaxed stay. Highly recommend!
An outdoor seating area is depicted on the wooden deck, featuring two wicker chairs arranged around a small table. A plant in a decorative pot adds a touch of greenery, while a vase with dried flowers is displayed on the table.

Our two visits 'bookended' a two week holiday in Tasmania, via Ferry rides with car. We very much appreciated being able to visit and stay at Christines accommodation.

The Red Door Country Cottage

Thank you for an amazing stay. Even though it rained the whole time, we felt so comfy and cosy there it didn't matter how much time we spent in the cottage. Also not far from Geelong (which has loads of vintage markets) so we did spend some time having a lovely lunch and browsing. Would highly recommend staying.

We loved our stay at Mel’s place. The location is great and the house is so beautiful, comfortable and inspiring. We had lots planned but we really didn’t need to leave. I will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for having us .

Modern exclusive air purifier private room

I had a great stay! The place was very clean and well-maintained, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was much easier to access compared to a city hotel—parking and getting in and out were very convenient. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Melbourne.

Hidden Valley House, 18 acres of private bushland

EmmaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hidden Valley House over the long weekend. It rained all weekend and it was the perfect location to cozy up by the fire. The cabin itself is very beautiful and the large windows looking out to the view make you feel like you are sitting right among the trees. James was extremely helpful before our stay, he called me to explain all of the details that we needed to know about the house. The location is not too far from Melbourne, but feels very secluded and surrounded by nature. We even spotted a kangaroo and a koala on the property while we were there! We were a little bit apprehensive about the composting toilet, but it was totally fine and it was very cool to know that the house is completely off the grid. We would love to visit again in the future!
