Warranfels Homestead

Warranfels Homestead is far enough out of Tenterfield to be peaceful and quiet, but is a convenient 10 minute drive away, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The house was built in 1910 and has recently been lovingly restored to it's former glory. It is a grand house with country charm and plenty of room for the whole family. It is situated on 10 acres in the centre of an operating farm. There is approximately 1km of unsealed dirt road after you turn off the Mt McKenzie Road.

We didnt want to leave!!! From the moment I booked Serenità for my Husband's suprise 30th getaway, I was counting down the days! And when the moment of arriving at this absolutely exquisite sanctuary came, we both had a few tears of happiness and endless comments of "Wow! Wow! wow!". The moment you walk up to this place, there is an instant sense of calmness and grounding, and the feeling of "I'm home". The whole decor is nothing but the best, and has been so beautifully executed; that you forget you are in a 'tent'. We have travelled extensively and have stayed in '5*' places, but this beats each and every one of them!- So much so, I wish there were more than 5* to give it! Serenità has everything you need, and is the perfect place to completely "disconnect to reconnect". We have stayed in AirBnb's all over the world and this place tops the list. We wanted a private, quiet getaway and we got that 100%. The entire place is amazing from amenities, the epic vista, the stars, the gorgeous cows, birds and pure relaxation. Outdoor bath was amazing, indoor outdoor fires, just epic times. Will be back for sure.

Then you enter the gallery, which is also filled with art, a lovely space with a fire place to complete it! A true Airbnb experience. We also briefly met Gabriele who was very kind and welcoming!

Absolutely loved this getaway. The area is gorgeous and peaceful, a perfect little hideaway, and the cottage was really homely, warm and welcoming. Also highly recommend the chocolates, they were so good.

A wood burner is positioned in the corner of the room, radiating a warm glow. Logs are neatly stacked beside it, with a metal bucket holding additional wood. Decorative teacups adorn the top of the stove, adding a charming touch to the rustic setting.

Highly recommended. The accomodation was excellent with a wonderfully attentive host. The home was very luxuriously and tastefully appointed with all the conveniences one could want provided. The communication from the host was excellent from the date of booking the accommodation continuing throughout our visit. Thank you Paul , we had a wonderful visit to the beautiful town of Tenterfield.

Well what a blast staying at "Sunday at Mirumiru", everyday felt like a Sunday. The house and grounds were spotless, the beds comfy and soft. Mirumiru located just out of town and nestled at the base of the wonderful Mt Mackenzie was private and peaceful. At night all you could hear were the crickets, frogs and the odd Moo. The kitchen was a breeze to cook in with all the right stuff to create our culinary delights. Our host must do yoga as she bent over backwards to ensure our stay turned out to be glorious and regenerative.
